this is my honest review of these tyres, its not sponsored, contributed or paid towards by anyone but myself
2:48 those internet armchair racers clearly have no idea what they're talking about because Speed Academy channel have tested both the AR1 and R888R and the AR1 is about a sec faster around 1 minute track, Tyre Reviews channel also tested the R888R and it's only half a sec faster than a 300 TW Michelin PS4S which is ridiculous, toyo tires is basically an overhyped tyre company that spent more money on windscreen banners and stickers marketing than actual R&D
I've tested these back to back on my race car with the AR1 and the AR1 is far better. Faster, more confidence inspiring, more progressive on breakaway.
I bought the same tyre for my track day rims. First time for me changing wheels at the track… do I have to run them in a bit or just slap them on brand new and go?my track days are at big circuits 4,5km usually 20 laps
I have yet to hear anyone who's track/drag tested the AR-1s say anything bad about them. The actually say it's more consistent than the R888R's
I just had one delaminate at the track, not the greatest grip as well. RE71R we’re much better when you could get them. Porsche GT3.
Sorry I just meet this type. How I understand This is NOT for daily drive?
You can daily drive on this, but its like driving Ferrari everyday. I sugest only track use

They are Volk CE28 i believe.
