  • Heres my thoughts.
    Product info:
The Koni STR.T Sports Suspension Kit combines lowered H&R springs and sports fixed rate dampers for a suspension kit that bolts straight on, with no further adjustments or set up required.
The Koni technicians have individually tailored and engineered the kits to each specific vehicle application to give a kit that delivers a great driving experience. Koni have matched H&R lowered sport springs and their own fixed rate dampers lower the ride height and improve handling. Car control and steering feedback are improved, whilst the ride quality remains excellent for everyday driving use.

Hi, did you get anything else with the shocks like dust covers and bump stops? Or did you just use the original parts with the new shocks? Thanks!

Panos Ts I don’t see the part number availability for a kit for that car but check online for the shock absorbers separately

I have a question. How are these shock absorbers in general on uneven road surfaces? How’s the general ride quality like ? Let’s say if we compare them to the KYB excel G or the Monroe OeSpectrum?
What are the wins and the losses in comparison?
I’m looking to pair it with a lowered spring built for comfort daily driving. Do you think 2 or three people in the vehicle would make a fuss due to the harshness of the ride?

Christiansen Robert I drove the car to and from events sometimes 8 hours, the ride is stiff but not harsh as it’s still a street based shock. Kyb I’ve ran before and I couldn’t see the difference.
This kit works incredible well and the handling is crazy at speed if you watch one of my laps.
Day to day everyday I can’t help with as I don’t use the car much due to driving a different car for work.
The price point is also excellent for the kit which is 4 shocks and h&r springs and it came to £350 so for that in my opinion as a whole package very hard to beat.
Obviously tyres also play a part but I can only comment on what I use
      Hope that helps

MR STEVE - you have no idea how much of an impact your reply is in my decision making process! I’m definitely gonna go with These Koni Street and pairing it with the FTuned CLS 😝The springs are about 20% more road friendly than the HNR. I think this should really do the trick for me for my town car.

The full kit was fairly cheap at the time. £340 upwards depending on the shop

These Koni streets's ride like a one ton truck in my 2000 Honda Accord with Eibach Pro springs.
The compression is way to hard and the rebound is a tick to soft , road impacts make my dash creak . just punches right through the car.
I had Koni Yellows before these and they rode MUCH better even on the hardest setting... WTF?
    Not a happy camper.
