Top 3 finish! Lake Norman Pre Spawn Bass Fishing - Foothills Kayak Anglers Event 2

First top 3 FINISH!
This tournament was the second event in the Foothills Kayak Anglers 2023 season.
This was a last minute decision to fish so obviously no pre fishing occurred. If you didn’t see it, our twins made an early arrival. Having fished this lake a month prior in the Queen City Trail my only hope was to go where I had success for that event. Unfortunately, the fish were no longer there and I had to scramble to put together a good solid day.
After 4 1/2 boring hours of not catching but 1 fish, I ended up with 9 fish and a 3rd place finish.
My QC teammate, @slowboatfishing unfortunately didn’t have the same success today.

I started kayak fishing the month after my son was born last year. I can empathize with wanting to be a supportive husband and father while continuing to do the things you love. Congrats on the twins!
