I'm actually reinstalling Dying Light to play the Following DLC because of the games 10th anniversary. I'm excited to come back to the Zombie infested streets of Harran. Window Kill looks like a really interesting version of Asteriods or Geometry Wars.

I might be the only one person in the planet that actively doesn't like doing that- I mean, I get the appeal of setting your own rules whenever playing a game, finding out weird tricks that clearly weren't intended for player use and exploit them, but that rarely makes for fun gameplay for me when it's so much cooler to play the game by its rules and be a master at it. One of the examples that come to mind for me is Half-Life 1, a game where you can simultaneously interact with the game world to the level where you can deactivate a light switch and deelectrocute water in "office complex" and also be the guy to completely skip "on a rail" with bhops, flying accross that section of the game like it was never there to begin with. The difference between these two being that the first makes me appreciate the world built around me and makes it feel like the game has consistent rules which I can make use of to have an advantage in a mostly diagetic way while the second makes it feel like the world is made of cardboard and cheap glass.

Love this video! Dying Light has always been a favourite of mine aswell, and it’s amazing to see these rules be broken but still remain in a sense of creativity rather than a simple roadblock. You have the option to grapple up the entire building, but there is that itch that makes it that much more satisfying to grapple halfway instead, and climb up a few pieces of furniture up onto the roof. Subbed! Can’t wait to see more

As a Finn I was baffled by remedys decision to put all this finland shit in this game (also control). I thought it would alienate the main audience (US) or simply not be relatable. Max payne1 had one tiny finland reference only Finns would notice, and that seemed an appropriate amount. Now after alan wake2 (and after finding ahma beer in a Finnish super market) remedyverse seems to be roughly 40% finland. I had no idea people would like that. This is the second review I have seen in which Yötön yö is sampled. Personally I liked Ahti larping as a tango king but had no idea it would leave an impression on the actual target audience of this game.

Ive played every souls game sans bloodborne and demon souls for obvious pc port reasons and this game has slowly become my fav souls borne in general

one thing I've noticed about Remedy games is how much they inspire. you will not find a single piece of video about Alan Wake or Control that don't try to do something strange like the games, the sheer courage of their games is unbelievably contagious, after Playing their games you can't not try to be creative, it's fantastic, and I am so glad to be a part of the community

This is more of a blatant rip off than palworld, bet fromsoft is kicking themselves for not patenting any mechanics

Lies of P is the biggest offender of the soulslike games that I have played where too many attacks are incredibly poorly telegraphed, either instant or enemies can go in a "stance" and you need to memorize the timing (not through animation, but through remembering how long it takes before you can counteract the attack when you see the "stance"). In the case of large bosses, like Manus, you can't even see the weapon because the boss is too big to fit on the screen, with the weapon hidden behind.

sick of hearing people say oh its perfect. no its not. for a start its dressed up like a cartoon. its just a remake of a classic game that started it all. if they are making a upto date remake they need to use more natural colours and realism. reMake just looked like a kids game and even the build quality was kiddie cartoon style. why was barrys hair short. looked nothing like him. jill was odd looking too.

The only thing I would change about Lie of P is the god damn name. Lies of Pinocchio goes hard, harder than P-Organ ever could. And when I say P-Organ, I'm talking about penises.

I'd be interested in reading how you managed to talk with every gamer on earth and found out their favourite games to be able to make such a claim.

Also for games that have dismemberment that actually impacts ur gameplay - fear and hunger 1 and 2s combat system is all about dismembering ur enemy in the correct way so u dont get clapped
