Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Mini v1 & Revolver motor testing
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 роки тому
This is just a quick test of the new Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster mini V1 ESC running a Revolver 1800 KV. I noticed some coging at initial start up, though this is way worse with the rig off the ground. Holmes is working on a means to program these ESC's so I imaging things will likely improve once thats available.

SSD Trail King on the rock pile

This is the SSD Trail King with the Killerbody LC70 body and their interior kit. I bobbed the bed, made some 3D printed bumpers and the sliders along with many other little details. You can find my build thread for this on RCCrawler if you want to know more: www.rccrawler.com/forum/ssd-trail-king-pro-scale-chassis-builder-kit/611604-humboldtefs-lc70-ssd-trail-king.html
SSD Trail King Night Run
Переглядів 1634 роки тому
I've been working on this project for at least 9 months and I've finally got something close to the finished product. I've just installed some lights so I decided to get a little footage last night. This is the Killerbody LC70 with their interior kit and a bobbed bed, custom 3D printed bumpers and sliders. Sorry for the shaky and somewhat poor footage, I was holding the radio and camera at the ...

Proline By The Fire 2019, Big Rail Slide
Переглядів 1,2 тис.5 років тому
This year at Proline by the fire they had a giant 100 ft rail slide setup that was pretty awesome. I was unfortunately running a truck that I was limping around at the time so I didn't want to risk it. Here's Browneye, Codyboy And Oscar taking on the rail slide.

Drift Truck Junkyard build

This project really has no real point other that to re-use some old parts to make something fun to mess around with. Build with mostly old Wraith parts, 3D printed chassis, Geared up with a 22T pinion and 52T spur, 21T Holmes 550 trailmaster motor, Holmes HV500 servo, TRX4 ESC, 2.2 Ripsaw R35 tires, SCX10.2 shocks. If people show interest in the 3D printed parts I can put them up for download o...
MK4 light controller testing on the Cross RC BC8
Переглядів 6926 років тому
Heres a test of the LANE Boys RC MK4 light controller. I'm still getting the hang of how to control the unit. I plan to redo the programming so the parking lights come on first then headlights, gauge cluster and the dome light. This controller has a lot of potential and the wiring solution it offers is very slick. You can find more info on the MK4 light controller here: ua-cam.com/video/-VyNAVU...
Cringe
Damn! That's a good looking truck!! I know it's 2 years later but I've been going through your channel & enjoying the content. 00
Thanks! Its one of my favorite hardbodies and it actually drives really well for one.
Nice rock pile. 00
Great fix thank you
Right on about servo spring, glade I watched this before I touched mine. Thank you
climbing is amazing, brilliant 😀👍👍😎😎
Nice looking rigs and fun spot Casey! 👍🤙
Thanks Topher!
Nice trucks
Good lookin rigs there humboldt! How yall like the gspeed? Ive got a v3 build n love it. Run it a bit sat. Subbed to the channel to brother
Hey Indy, thanks! The GSpeed rig is my Brothers, this was its first outing. It did great, its setup super low belly dragger style. I think the Gspeed shock positions are better or allow for more fine tuning at least. I think If I build another comp/cheater rig its gonna be GSpeed!
Nice run. It looks cold out there.
Hey Tom, it looks colder than it actually is, it was super foggy out but only 58 degrees or so.
awesome rc's and great crawling
Good climbing in the moon 👍
We were wondering how the first rock we were at was formed, must have came from the moon yep! lol
Wadidow
This is a very useful video. I will visit often to see new friends 👍🥰🇰🇷😙😆
👍 👍 🇫🇷
cool test and crawling
Performed well for a hard body
Hello new friend here
Come a long way since my child hood..we was lucky if they would drive on shag carpet
Amazing 👍
Baguss
👍🏼 Cool
I love it brother
Hell of a machine💪👌👍👍
Well that was cool👌subscribed👍👍
👍 👍
👍 👍
A member on RCCrawler mentioned that this isnt actually cogging its stepping ('The motor is basically being told the rotate x degrees and stop, repeatedly') I also wanted to mention that driving isn't really affected by this.
Maybe it gets a little bit better when the PWM is crammed to the max...I will try that.
Nice i just got the same setup and am a little confused how to calibrate it. As of now my setup makes that cog sound and nothing else when plugged in
Yeah programming is still in the works. Its only really noticeable when theres no load.
Awesome video my rc friend 😀👍💪
I have a flycolor x30 esc which is with the new Blheli32 suite and a 2040kv snubnse and its doing exactly the same.
What is this esc I’ve never herd of it so it works like the Holmes esc
Thats not even worth mentioning. That's so minimal.
Hey Tom, the point wasn't to give people something to worry about but just to show whats going on and how its pretty much gone when you drive. Side note I just grabbed one of the new Revolver classic motors for my BC8, cant wait to see how that does.
@@humboldtef You going to love the Revolver in the Mammoth. I put a 1000kv Revolver in mine. The 1400kv would work too. Run'n a Mamba Monster X with it. I snap the transmission main shaft awhile back and was sent the new head treated non C-clip one....I need to install it before Pro-Line By The Fire.....speaking of....are you going?
@@tomlucasrccrawlers9108 I hope I can make it, work is super busy right now so I'll have to play it by ear.
Noticed the same. I have the HH CM MiniV1 and a revolver team spec in a Gspeed V3 with AR44 and a 3gear transmission. Slight cog pre-programming is worth the silence. Thanks for the content
What's the problem with the truck?
huh?
Lo dicho as montado muy mal tu gmade gom suena fatal otro juguete roto llevo 11 años crawleando hay gente que se cree que puede montar y al final nada
Not my Gom.
Siento decir que ese fallo lo a s tenido por no montar bien el eje de delante pero claro tenias ganas de provarlo lo mas deprisa sin mirar los fallos de montaje suerte
No, this was assembled like stock. The pin is too short and the axle shaft design is bad. Many have broken these shafts. Gmade later revised them to use a longer pin which says alot.
Amazing video👍 I subscribed
Long wheelbase must make it great for the steeps
Excellent upload and beautiful sharing🙂👌🙂🎻
Good Video
Nice location with the ocean in the background! 👏
Impressive for a 20+ pound beast! Love that rig!!! Great driving! Awesome Video!!!!
Awesome RC and crawling
Thanks
Wow, this is sick! Its cool watching the build on RCC then seeing it run over here. Nice spot too. (I’m SLN on RCC by the way)
Hey thanks! I thought that might be you.
@@humboldtef haha yeah, my profile pic probably gave it away.
This is just awesome! I watched your build over on RCC. Those landmines were hooking up well, but it seems like it needs a tad more weight in the front. Love the 4 wheel steer! This rig makes me want to try my hand at brazing. Well done!
Thank you! Yeah the landmines did great so long as I kept them clean, i went down to the beach later and ended up carrying it around to keep the tires off the sand lol any thoughts on what to add for more weight on VP portals? I thought about a winch down on the front axle as well. The balance is pretty good but good-er would be nice too. Brazing wasnt as hard as I thought it might be, go for it.
It looks sooo good out on the rocks! Excellent build! Great job!👍
Thanks Brian! it was a fun build.
This rig turned out awesome! Really cool Casey.
Hey thanks Soze!
Sorry about the wind noise
Amazing Parkour, thank you for sharing!
