In today’s video went out to perform a maintenance on a split system. The customer had noted that they had high electric bills. Wanted to inspect the insulation in the attic. But first went to the condenser and found that the suction line was lukewarm. Once I gauge up was evident there was a leak. There was also a ton of oil all over the suction line. Performed a leak search outside and was una...

Previously MISDIAGNOSED | HVAC | Replacing a leaking CARRIER coil and TXV
Переглядів 2,4 тис.2 місяці тому
In today’s video, I went out to a job that the customer was told that the Schraders were leaking, but previously called the company back to let them know still was not working. Then the customer was told that the line set was leaking. So they called us out for a second opinion, and I was able to locate the leak at the evaporator coil. While ordering the coil, I was looking to have a preassemble...
How to find Refrigerant leaks | HVAC | If it’s LENNOX it LEAKS
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 місяці тому
And today’s video I filmed this back in beginning of August during peak season. Customer had notated that the system was not cooling off during the peak of the afternoon and would start to get warm. Found out right away that it was a Lennox unit, which was a direct Indicator that there was a leak in the refrigerant system. Because Lennox is known for their shitty coils. So I started by checking...

In today’s video, I go out to a call in which the customer noted. There was water leaking through the attic ceiling. Thought it was just that there was a backed up drain line, which is what it was. But due to the neglect of the system and the installation The drain line was not sloped properly and all the bacteria was building up inside of the drain pan not allowing the drain primary float swit...

Переглядів 2 тис.3 місяці тому
In this video, I go on a service call where the customer noticed that the upstairs unit was running hot. Want arrival found that the suction side was freezing over. Suspected either a refrigerant leak being that it was a Lennox system or a bad ECM motor. Once upstairs found that the blower motor was not running. It did appear to be receiving the call. Although I wasn’t able to determine if it w...

In today’s video, I returned to a call in which I went out to do a maintenance. Performed a leak directly at the evaporator coil as that’s where I te...
I Blew THE POWER to the building | HVAC | Reviving 23 year old neglected system
Переглядів 2,3 тис.4 місяці тому
In today’s video, I go to a commercial space where the temperature inside was reading 84. The customer would reset the breakers and the system would tend to work. The initial inspection of the unit found that the coil was dirty and the head pressure was extremely high. Needed water access, but there was none on the premises so had to run home and pick up my portable M2 sprayer. Once I return to...
CONDENSER WONT START | HVAC | Carrier unit DOA due to REPTILE DAMAGE

In today’s video, I go out to a call where the customer is letting us know that the condenser won’t start. IT COULD BE WORSE| HVAC | blower motor PULL and CLEAN
Переглядів 1,5 тис.4 місяці тому
In today’s video, I returned to a call that I was previously on where I replaced the capacitor. Upon check in the capacitor I checked over the rest of the system to see if there’s any more issues to keep the unit running as long as possible. Came across the blower wheel, which was extremely dirty. By cleaning the blower wheel it frees up the weight that’s running on the motor. Also helps the ai...

In today’s video I returned back to a job from a previous video in which I went out for a second opinion. Knipex 60-65 Rockwell. Icon 55-60 Rockwell. You decide
Hey man. What do you usually film in field with? And what editing software/apps do you like to use ?
Always used my phone up until recently, use the pocket 3 and action 5. And I only use CapCut, and edit it on my phone. One day I’ll graduate to a computer but for now it works!
@ awesome. Keep it simple I like it!! Thanks man! Always love the content. I’m debating the action 5 or the insta360 ace so we’ll see which one I get. Thanks!
Tryna get like you one day, just about to finish trade school
Bro you’ll do great things far more then me, appreciate the words 💪 but crush it man and keep getting after it, and stay “chill” no need to be loud in the intro, like some ppl 😅
Keep grinding bro that’s insane
🫡 same to you my guy!
dang, were you standing on the drywall and not the rafters?
Was levitating, trying my best Chris angel 🤣 nah def on the rafters, I can say luckily no falls to date 🤞
You weren’t impressed with Milwaukee hand tools so you got me to subscribe
😅 appreciate it!!
We’re thinking about moving to Florida in the next couple years and that’s one thing I don’t like is duct board. In West Virginia you see very little of it most just metal. I hate duct board and from what I’ve seen from videos and at my wife’s familys houses in Florida it’s all duct board I don’t know anything about it so I’ve got a lot to learn if we move down there.
I friggin hate duct board with a passion 😂 loved metal, tin knockin all that shtuff!! This crap is for the birds, and I’m definitely still on learning cycle of it myself and just trying my best to adapt to the “practices” down here!! But make the most of it
Tough working conditions. Thanks for the video. Stay safe out there.
Fortunately had a very nice weather break 😅 appreciate it brother same to you!!
You definitely are real and it shows. Great advice..
Why thank youuu 🙏 😂
KALOS
😳 🤔
I had an ex GF that handled foreclosed real estate for banks. She would do appraisals, get repairs done, market and sell it. She wasn't allowed to say there was was mold if an official analysis wasn't done which it never was. She had to refer to as discoloration.
Boom! That’s a good call, I’ll tell the customer the main route of the cause is normally unsealed ducts or some infiltration, that causes “that” 😂 cold dark damp water environment and your bound to have something
Knocked it out of the park Bro ... Nice job ... Thx
Eduardo 🫡 appreciate my man!! 🙏
kalos did that or just serviced the unit? I couldnt tell but did you just go up with another ductboard riser off the top of the airhandler through the ceiling and pull off that? Could you have done the riser than came off each side of the riser with trunkline so every vent was straight shot?
They did the installation. New riser. The plan was to take the plenum up and branch off like you said. But the way the house was built and designed, with the space we couldn’t do it because the eve of the roof was there and without reconstructing the whole closet etc. . So kept the flex but prior it was crushed and kinked so we were able to alleviate that!
@@KoolinwithKrauss nice. ive also seen some bad installs myself lately with all of these new townhomes being thrown up in a week. They all have the same zoned duct setup. 2 story houses. They have a 12" flex going downstairs to a box with 6 6" flexs coming off that for the living room/kitchen/half bath. The upstairs has 2 vents per bedroom, 1 for the bathroom, and stairwell. There are 8 vents for upstairs. So in total, you have 9 supplies off 4' of truckline + 6 vents off the 12". They put all this ductwork on a 3 ton system and when both zones call it works terribly when its 20 or 95 outside... its such a shitshow.
Helluva job well done 👏
My man 💪 much appreciated 🙏
Running flex inside the ductboard to the air handler? That’s a new one on me. What is up with that
Wild West in central Florida 😳
Redoing the UA-cam competition work lol.
I think a lot starts with the builder, but that plenum didn’t help the matter 🤷♂️ 😂
Bro since starting the shop up in Edgewater and running calls from Daytona to Melbourne I’ve seen some crazy installs up and down the east coast ! I kinda miss Seminole county 😂Keep up the fire content broski Feb 12th AHR
Duuuude!!! It makes you wonder how ppl get by with that 💩 🤦♂️ but hell ya man, going to be a blast!!
@ yeah especially with the name that was one it ! They use to be the standard for excellence or so I’ve been told ! Also could have been other guys along the years messing with it who knows
For sure bro!
Killing it out there Jake....keep it up homie
Jason appreciate it, same to you big dawg 💪
Nice work brotha ! 💪🏼🔥
Big Dom 💪 appreciate it bro 🫡

I Always hated that spider 💩 in an attic.
Such ass man 🤦♂️ that’s all it is here sadly, wish metal was more prevalent
Nice work!

Ayyye! You the mask guy 😅
Nice work Jake.
Thanks man!!
Cool vids bro
Appreciate it man 🫡
More blessings homie 💪🏾🙏🏾
Much appreciated my guy! Same to you 🫡
Some tools I have had been used once or twice and never again Like the variable speed motor tester, I used this twice EVER
I was always curious about those testers!
@KoolinwithKrauss where exactly are you working out of? Which city/state I am in the lake Wylie sc area myself
Sir they make a kit with tools that allow you to easily negotiate that nut on the conduit at the outdoor unit. I make light work of that every time with such a tool. 1/2 and 3/4 Also, there are tubing expanders kits that make light work of the intended new braze connections. There are also tubing bender kits that can turn 7/8 copper 90 degrees without kinks I'm sure you already know all this Not sure why your using such primitive tools honestly To each his own But my life is exceedingly easy out here BECAUSE of the massive quanity of high end tools I keep on hand
I prefer the cobras from Knipex instead of the lock nut wrench’s. I have a few different variations. I used a swager by SPIN in the drill easy peezy and also used benders, appreciate the input
If it doesn't just spring back open with no power what does that indicate? Is there a bad spring inside the damper? My replacement just kinda goes up slowly but only partially. I made sure it was fully in the open position when installing and can watch it close fully when powered. But it just slowly opens partially. Any ideas?
Try adjusting the red lever
They work great
Given the application!! I think they can be a godsend
Just curious with all the searching, bubbles and pressure, why not dye?
I tend to avoid dye if I can when the system is under warranty!! Only for the sake of protecting the customer and avoiding the BS
So we tested 74 sets of these on our crew and they such butt. The coating scratches off in an instant. The box end is so thick you can't tighten or loosen a simple 3/8 not on any type of clamp especially a vibration eliminator!. About half of them stopped ratcheting at a few teeth. Klein royally failed on these. Reduce box end thickness. Dip in chrome. Improve the degree locking. You might have a winner. Till than crescent tools
I’ve not had any issues since, I don’t use them daily but weekly, they do scratch like crazy but have been good for me! But with crews using them, that’s a higher metric to base it off of then what I got!!
@KoolinwithKrauss do me a favor. Take a 3/8 Hydrasorb (vib elim) and clamp a pipe. Tighten the nut and tell me how it goes. Our wrenches won't even sit flat due to thickness. Klein should take not from Crescent!
For sure with your business expansion you will see the results this year
My brother!! Appreciate the positive words and really hoping so!!!
I want to get into this line of work. My heat aint working and im broke 😮. Bout to dig in
You sound like me now 😳 😂 get after it!!!
Can you tell us the internal dimensions of the doctors pocket
I do believe 17” height, 14” width and8” depth but I feels it’s deeper
Thanks bud
Appreciate that 🫡
What online platform you use to find gigs?
We tried a few that didn’t work as anticipated to be honestly. Fortunately we had an extensive database to work from
I bet this guy would be fun to chill and drink beer with and talk tools
I think you’re right 🤣 this guy does enjoy a brew and some tools!!
Great vid man. Had an off topic question. Looking to upgrade my service bag for residential. How have you liked the SB-LD? I'm debating between that, the tp-lc, and the tech mc compact. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks and happy new year
I really liked the sb ld for the back panel and open face. The tp lc is great compact light. And the tech mc is also great, was my first bag. Out of them 3 I think I’d personally go with sb ld
@KoolinwithKrauss thanks, that's what I was learning towards
Do you only do cooling?
Mostly, some heating
Super effort mate! That's for sharing and being open to show financials.
Absolutely my guy 🙏 appreciate you hope all is well!
