- In today’s video, customer had called and let us know that the system would nonstop run so inside and initially just checked the condenser found all the operations on the carrier system to be normal. Went back inside disconnected to 24 V from the ECM X 13 blower module. And the motor would continue to run. Ran to the nearest supply house system was under warranty returned and replace the motor and the system was operating as it should.

You need a bulkhead in that truck. It will save your life.
For sure!! Generally don’t carry anything in the back that’s going to come flying up. But I agree appreciate it dude 🫡
Dang it was a broad ocean motor.
I’m telling you “Chuck” 😂 🥋
"I'm not the best technician", you can give yourself a little more credit than that dude. Nobody knows everything and you're not indocile, so you will get better.
Much appreciate my guy 🫡
It’s to be expected when you work the hours we work ! My entire house has covid so I’ve been down for 3 days and going back to work Friday ! Be safe out here bro
Yooo!! Rest up big homie 🫡 hope yall recover, not sure if you have kids, but with the back to school my wife got hit with something too!
Your energy and humor is what i enjoy about your channel. Your a solid dude Jake. I have a ton of respect for ya. Even though i don't work on splits much.....i enjoy the hell out of your channel
Jason I appreciate you!! Thanks homie salute and I see you think we about to go down out here 🤣 😂
Did you ever find out what made that module go bad? Was it a power surge, high static pressure or both? I’m in Florida. We have around 800,000 lightening strikes a year. Great video.
If I were to guess it be a surge, so much construction going on and the grid isn’t the best, and the amount of sky to ground strikes doesn’t help that’s for sure! Been recently installing some of the zebra x13 surge protectors, but tell a customer about it sometimes they don’t want to 🤷♂️ appreciate it
Totally enjoyed seeing you and watching you work !the tracking of the call and problems that you perfectly repair and diagnose would be very cool. As always if you decide to take on this mission and get caught we will appreciate you😎 be safe stay real my brother
😂 love it, appreciate it big man!! Same to you Marv 🫡
Do they charge yall the 50 warranty processing fee up there? They do here in Tx
Yessir, same here!
Watch out for toddler labor laws.
You ain’t lying!!
I would like to know your statistics.
I’ll start to keep tabs on that Robert and try and do a list at the end of the year
No apologies required!
Appreciate ya 🫡
One stop is a nightmare we picked up a lot of their warranty work since they went out of business
Dude 🤦♂️ they were always behind o bunch of these calls, if I’m not mistaken they got bought by strada 🤔 not 100% on that
I’m missing a few paychecks coworker haha
1099 😂
What up buzzy bee I'm glad you keeping buzzy. I like how they bury your control wires along with the condensate drains below ground makes it more of challenge to fix it 😊
You see that crap 🤦♂️ yeah the drain lines here keep ya bizzy that’s for sure 😅
That call did not require balance at all; i.e. I could have done it. So, what percentage of your calls do not require balance, i.e. no ladders, no navigating floor joists, etc.?
Edit: Oh, and I watch HVAC Knights, and I have yet to see Curtis let his hair down.
Curt’s dropped a few eff bombs 😂 but I’d say for me it’s about 70% like so the other 30% are attics, ladders etc. for the most part you could make it happen!
I’m just about to hit the field soon and got 3 more months to go of school and was wondering if you went to school and if so did you do a 12 month course? And how long after school did it take you to start your own business???
That’s awesome!! I didn’t go to school, was fortunate to get in the field because of my dad. Then I’ve been at it for off and on for 13 years. And now it’s been about 2 years, but really hammering it the past 9 months!
Always enjoyed little jobs like those ... Thx Jake
Of course Eddy!! 🫡
Looks like you got an apprentice. He pick the seat?
😂 Best one a man could get!!
so bizzy air is bizzy ? 😅
Man I catch myself every time I say it now 😂 🤦♂️
How does Carrier deal with warranties? Do they just give you the new motor and you return the core? I called one in before and they made go around to another website to process and they said it be a week to approve. It’s not an easy process. I’m a new tech but it seems Carrier doesn’t streamline this process.
Some of the branch’s do them different in my area! Depending on what the part is, generally speaking we process the warranty when we pick it up ($50 fee) then we just get new part and they don’t ask for the old one all depends tho, definitely a long drawn out process like the mentioned
4 years old and insulation is junk 😂
Dude carrier is the worse, shit after about 6 months here, have to get spray glue, and red letter on it it’s ridiculous 🤦♂️
Definitely 👍🏼 every brand is junk really 😊
