Don joins the Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band for a performance at the Vancouver Island Exhibition, which takes place every year in Nanaimo. The Band plays a variety of tunes, and manages to hold off the rain. Thanks go to Barb for doing the camera work. Slainte!!

Don rides the oceanside and woodland trails around the glorious Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park, located near Parksville on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia. Don't watch this video if you get motion sickness. Do watch it if you want to see some of the stunning scenery that is located in Don & Carolyn's back yard, so to speak. They live a 10 minute drive from Rathtrevor!

Don joins fellow Great Cycle Challenge participants Joe and Rob for a couple of rides around the Oceanside region, where they live! The first ride is a beer run to the Fern & Cedar in Qualicum Beach, and the second tours around the local 'hood with a stop at the Rocking Horse Pub. Enjoy the scenery and music!

Don finished his Blazing Star foundation paper pieced quilt, adding a bias binding and making a mounting sleeve on the back. Carolyn joins Don for this video, to explain a neat way to cut the bias binding fabric. It turns out great!

This is Don's first bike-riding video done with a GoPro! Don and his buddy Joe ride from their 'hood' in Nanoose Bay to Coombs - a great tourist destination in the Oceanside area of Vancouver Island. The Mid Island Competition Pipe Band competes and entertains at the Campbell River Highland Gathering. They even won the Grade 4 Band competitions! Don is of course a member of this Band, wearing the blue & purple RCAF tartan. Check it out. The playing was amazing!

Don presents some of the piping fun that the Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band had at the annual Band BBQ, held at Don and Carolyn's place. One dive, one place, one adventure!! Don is joined by most of the dive gang for an early evening splash at one of the best sites of the Mid-Island. Octopuses, wolf eels, decorated war bonnet, and even some really cute jelly fish! Check it out.
