I agree with the extra tarp setup. I would be interested in trying the tarp the other way so the pointy end was above the door, with the guy line staked with a 4ft pole in front of the doorway. Thanks to both of you.

Great vid but as much as i love the Broads, they are ANYTHING BUT a wilderness. Man made, surrounded by farmland, heavily 'managed'. The Back River in Northern Canada, now that's wilderness.

Love your videos. I only live 10 to 20 minutes bike ride from a lot of the places you visited and cycle the same routes regularly. Love the stove/ twig burner and cooking pots you used. Any more info on these please?

This type of inflatable doesn’t always get a good write up but then you do a youtube search and the number of people doing tours in just this particular one it is quite staggering. Other much expensive kayaks are nowhere to be seen.

I passed through a couple of days ago on my bike and signed the book at the war grave site.

I'm on my final few days of riding the route I've enjoyed learning more about the history of war. The German war grave at Lommel just took my breath away.

Great video, it’s a lovely paddle between Beccles and Oulton Broad, I’m intrigued, was that really a wild camping spot or was it part of the Waveney river centre at Burgh St Peter as you were so close to it and I know a path covers that area, I’m a local boy.

You've inspired me to do this trek. Can't decide to walk or bike. I have a road bike but one with fatter tyres would be more suitable (mudguards too). If walking water would be a problem. Wild camping is for me too.

For me anyway, the major problem with sleeping in a kayak is that it is more than likely going to be soaking wet after a day paddling.
