This is the first video I’ve watched on your channel. I live in the States, in the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona. I find Norfolk and The Broads to be fascinating. Your voiceovers and narration are like poetry describing the natural beauty you were immersed in while on the Broads and the magnificent English Countryside. I subscribed to your channel based on the already stated and for the following: 1. At 18:44 I spotted the “Simon, THE Bloke in the Woods” decal on your canoe. Simon and you are kindred spirits. Perhaps a collaboration with Simon is in order, it would be a sublime video. 2. At 11:50, the weighty decision of choosing the correct tea for lunch. A predicament and quandary for an Englishman indeed. The best part of every wild camping, backpacking, canoeing adventure video is always the ritual morning coffee/tea, the mid-morning/afternoon tea break and winding down, evening hot chocolate. 3A. The drone footage showing the extent of the Broad’s network was very informative, revealing and most appreciated. 3B. Explaining Bernoulli's principle when you were approaching Potter Heigham bridge was a nice, educational touch. I would never have known how Bernoulli's principle would affect paddling a canoe. Thanks for your time and effort in making your videos.
Thank you so very much for your fantastic comment. I am humbled to here you put me in the same sentence as Simon a Bloke..... I'm a tiny channel, but I love canoeing and cycling. Adventure is in my blood! Your feed back is really appreciated because I never know what works and what doesn't! At present I'm on a multi day canoe trip to Scotland. Video out later this month. Thanks for your sub. Cheers, Andrew
I hope you enjoy Andrew's films of the trip around Loch Awe (in 3 parts) it was an amazing time😀 ps the canoe in question was mine, Andrews was the more elegant boat, lol!!
Absolutely incredible: I think that that would be a good film for schools, I learnt a lot therein 😊, and so beautifully put together! The drone footage adds so much !
A nice little adventure and journey. The remoteness that you can feel even though you're not far from civilization is amazing. Just glad you never came across any dodgy people looking for a duelling banjo session😂😂 or you may never have been heard of again🤣🤣👍👍
Great vid but as much as i love the Broads, they are ANYTHING BUT a wilderness. Man made, surrounded by farmland, heavily 'managed'. The Back River in Northern Canada, now that's wilderness.
I’ve just discovered your channel today, loving the paddling videos on the Broads, my local waters, please don’t go all American, counter clockwise!!!! Surely it’s anticlockwise in Britain, sorry but I’m an let’s keep our identity type, I know you UA-camrs cater for your American audience but you can still speak as you were brought up to. Right, rant over 😂

Lovely to see The Broads spidering landscape. An amazing mixture of man made and natural environments merging. Great to showcase our local area. 👍👌
Thanks, Tom. I just help myself...its beautiful, as you know. Cheers
I’m always impressed by the bravery of people flying drones over open water! 😅
🤔or foolhardy!

Many thanks. It was excellent.
Lovely peaceful way to travel.
Not quite cycling, although drier...in my case! Thanks Amanda

Yer I know!....but why let reality spoil a good story!
Wow Andrew! That is next level cinematography AND chat😎👌A real step up bro👏👏🖤 Love your camo jacket too... What type is that please? KTF🙏
Thanks very much. I appreciate that so much. The jacket is a British Military wind proof smock (with hood) in DPM camo.

Sorry guys... from the getgo I oftentimes like, confuse my like counter with my anti, won't make the same mistake twice...
Since I’m enjoying your content you’re forgiven 🤣
