When i first started training legs for real, i was obsessed with Platz and trained like him, at least i tried. I literally coundnt do another leg day for at least 10 days because i was too sore.

There may be 5 plates sandwiched between the first one and the one at the end, or it may be 6 plates. If there are 5 plates sandwiched, total weight of deadlift is 675lb, while with 6 plates, it goes up to 765?

17 reps with that weight? INSANE!! And before this set he already did a set and did not rest that long between sets. And god knows how many sets and reps he did in total. Tom was such a beast!

Last year I walk into a store and the guy at the cash register was about as wide as an 18 wheeler truck sideways. - Do you deadlift? - Oh, no. Too taxing. Recuperation takes forever. I didn't know what to say. Guy was massive.
