Nice sprayer Lee
It works well and a lot better than the 1 gallon pump up are used to use
That’s a Cadillac of a mower . 👍🏻
That it is
What did you ever figure out with that?
I really hadn’t done anything yet, but my next step is to check voltage at the plug
Cool Beans!
Thanks for watching
when you dump it out and just put new oil in there is still a bit of gas in the block ,hear it in the video engine is clacking ,it di the same thing with mine ,when i dumped it out a second time and put new good oil in it ran smoother and quieter, much better ,do what you want but i would really do it try it and you will see and hear the difference ,dont take my word for it, try it,
Good information I will get that taken care of Thanks for watching
need to do a double flush empty old oil and gas mix out of engine put cheap oil in ,run for a bit then dump, put new oil back in,it makes a big difference when you do that ,yes you wast oil but thats why you use cheap oil, you never going to get all the old oil and gas mix out
This makes perfect sense thanks for the information
I Understand you , Ok'' That said. 40+++ Years of Permatexting. + Every other Gasket makers latest & Greatest Goo ,, The Best I have Found For my customers,,, ( I own & Run a Outboard / Small Engine Repair Shop 28+ yrs On Kodiak Alaska. ,,, Pls Understand Kodiak Is A Very Remote Island 280+ miles out in the Gulf of Alaskan waters, I Found That the Perm-Light Grey (( That's what P-Text Calls It. Fantastic. Quick set Time & Solid Thick Gasket set Up.. Solid Product.
This is good to know, thanks for the comment, I will probably try that next time around.
what model mower???????????????????
That is a craftsman GT 3000 early 90s model. It should be a 46 inch deck.
But the Fix apples to any deck
Wouldn't a traditional gasket be a better fix? (Not BS'ing you... I'd like to know!)
Probably the best option in this case would have been to order one of the black plastic valve covers if that metal valve cover has any bend to it at all it will leak with gasket. This permatex is thicker. It’s hard to beat it.
Great information, thanks
Thanks
Yeah. If you don't follow the instructions, it won't work for you.
First few times I did not read instructions. You are correct it leaked.
my instructions say finger tighten , wait 1 hr , torque to specs . I believe the wait 24 hrs part means to wait that long before filling with fluids . I could be wrong though .
That might be correct, I’ve always let it sit overnight to be on the safe side and that seems to work
Cool
Thanks for watching
That is some great stuff . That’s all I use . Thanks for sharing Lee .
If you use it correctly, it works well
hey Lee, do you have the model number , I have 1 with the electric deck lift but dont know the model number as the label has been damadged, Thanks
It’s not with me currently or I would I should have it back in a few weeks and would be glad to
Maybe send me a reminder in a few weeks😀
I dont think i ever seen a john deere tractor yet with good paint , but i like the engine on it
This is true- ha
I am back and I am looking forward to catching up with your videos, I everything is good with. Very cool boat
Welcome back! And thanks
I have one of these! Great machine!
It seems to be rather handy
can a person hook a 3 point hitch the same way . I like all your videos thanks very much
ua-cam.com/video/zdp_q-vVeDA/v-deo.htmlsi=q8zpfl9bHb79Ug85
I’ve done it a few times. Here is a example.
Asking price?
$28000
Very nice pontoon .
@@inthebackyardwithdel438thanks
Do you happen to have a link to a sleeve hitch for this mower?
I would only be guessing, but it’s probably the one that you can currently buy online now
This was a huge help.
Glad it helped
That is a lot better than a pop-socket . 👍🏻
Ha - yes
That's a pretty handy gadget indeed
Seems to be😀
Well done, thank you. That helped me sooooo much. I appreciate you
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching
Nice weed eater , I like the ease of line replacement . 👍🏻
I like
We men never read manuals or stop and ask directions. It's in our manly DNA. LOL
That’s a neat weed whacker head. Easy line install 👍🏻👍🏻
I like
Nice work on the mulch there lee good tools for the job 👍
Thanks, having a machine like this makes it fun to Mulch
Thank you for this video. I have this particular push mower and it's doing exactly what this one did before you worked on it. SO I'll be doing the same thing you just did here. Again thank you for this video. Very much appreciated.
Glad it helps
its not that difficult to rebuilt it, its a simple permanent magnet motor just like a starter. when it tries to lift is it clicking or does it just stop?
Thanks for the information then I’ll probably do a video taking it apart and seeing what can be done Thanks for the info
It will move like it should if there is no weight but as soon as you add weight, it does not click it just stops moving on
I was told by somebody else that I should check voltage at the plug that if it were a lower voltage that could also cause this
Good job
Thanks, and thanks for watching
That is odd that butterfly made it thru the carburetor like that
That’s the first time I’ve seen anything quite like that
Hey Lee , I have never seen a throttle shaft break like that .
I was kind of surprised to see it
Lee I’m a craftsman tool man myself and never had one fail on me for a reciprocating saw the best blades are the Diablo blade red blade get the general purpose blade from Home Depot and the best bang for your buck blade I will say it will get the job done
Good info- thanks
Those are handy to have.
I don’t need it very often but when I need it, I need it
Good one Lee. Nice tool. I have some Dewalt tools. Saws-all not something I would use a lot. But very handy when needed. We do have a 110 volt plug in one. Used them a lot in my working years.
I don’t use it very often but when you need one, you need one
Morning Lee , nice saw . I have been looking at their grease gun . 👍🏻🇺🇸
Grease gun would be good
That's different that they (craftsman) would put two different mower blade spimdles with different mounting alignment stars on the same size deck 0:10
I guess it’s about $
Nice looking quality blades . 👍🏻
I think they’re probably good ones
Cub Cadet Lawnmower are good I have had mine for 8 years now. A few weeks ago mine stopped it would start then die so I went out to buy a new lawnmower wow no way. They sure have went up in price so I came back and tore into it. I took small engine repair in school I made the teacher mad because I took his test and made an A he made me re take the test and yes he watched me the test was a little different but I still made another A that pissed him off lol. I am now soon to be 68. The only reason I was willing to buy a new lawnmower was because I don't have a shop anymore. But it's still just as easy for me to repair them. Small engine and Auto work has always been my cup of tea😊
I’m glad you got it fixed. I wish the younger generation would be more like you.
@@MurphyMower Thank you
Good video but you do not need to take off the top cover or the air cleaner base housing. The left side tin should come off and then there’s only 2 Phillips head bolts that hold the pump to the block. Once you undo those the pump moves freely and you can get the fuel lines off. Remember this is not an electric fuel pump so turning the key will not make gas come out. The pump arm rides on the camshaft in the engine and the diaphragm inside the pump creates vacuum. In my opinion that magnum MV series was one of the best engines ever made.
Thanks for the tips!
@4:24 Our older Craftsman has the same part that broke... do you know what the name of this part is?
Look at 9:27
It gives you the part number and all the information you should need
Awesome, thank you!
Great to have junk around. Never know when you might need it. 👍🏻👋
You got that right!
That got those extra parts organized. Thats a very good idea.
Well, it can kind of neatens everything up, and I can lay it out to where I can see everything Heck, maybe I’ll get rid of some of it knowing I won’t use it
Cool
Thanks
Great idea Lee . 👍🏻
Thanks- it seems to be neater
i save even short pieces of lumber . measure and write length on ends and note if it's treated . stored overhead in an outbuilding . when i need a certain length , it's easy to find the closest one . i use my scraps quite often .
Yep- always using scraps for something around here
Sounds to me ether voltage regulator or charging alternator can cause that been there done that with the cub cadet tiller lifting problem Lee
So do you think it would cause less voltage which would weaken the lift capacity?
@@MurphyMower yes sir I went threw the same thing with the cub tiller problem solved it
@@MurphyMower I also left you a voicemail
@@millerbification I will check into that that would be wonderful
Check that you have a good ground from the battery to the motor run a new battery positive from the battery to see if getting good power supply
It works just don’t pull heavy loads
