I didn’t know if someone has already done research and found out with the dimensions and lifting capacity what the nearest replacement part number would be If you have an idea, let me know Thanks for the comment
figure out whether the motor or the mechanical part is causing the problem . i assume it's not the motor , since the shop should have deemed it ok . it's broke , so you have nothing to lose by taking the mechanism apart in a vid . maybe a viewer can suggest a fix .
That’s a good idea. One of my viewers did recommend checking the voltage at the plug to make sure it’s getting a full 12 V because it works it just don’t work when you have weight on it.
its not that difficult to rebuilt it, its a simple permanent magnet motor just like a starter. when it tries to lift is it clicking or does it just stop?
Cool
I’m looking for a new replacement actuator that will match up this one
Murphy Amzon has a ton of these my tractor has a big spring that is right under the seat there is a adjusting nut at the top of the backplate.

Check that you have a good ground from the battery to the motor run a new battery positive from the battery to see if getting good power supply
It works just don’t pull heavy loads

I’m thinking if it would lower voltage, it might not work quite as strong
Sounds to me ether voltage regulator or charging alternator can cause that been there done that with the cub cadet tiller lifting problem Lee
So do you think it would cause less voltage which would weaken the lift capacity?
@@MurphyMower yes sir I went threw the same thing with the cub tiller problem solved it
@@MurphyMower I also left you a voicemail
@@millerbification I will check into that that would be wonderful
I hate that it didn’t fix it .
I just need to find a new replacement as I could use three or four of those
@@MurphyMower I wonder if a windshield wiper motor would mount up to that housing .

Thanks for the information then I’ll probably do a video taking it apart and seeing what can be done
Thanks for the info
It will move like it should if there is no weight but as soon as you add weight, it does not click it just stops moving on
I was told by somebody else that I should check voltage at the plug that if it were a lower voltage that could also cause this
