thanks
Nice "original" content. GSG did it better and faster. ua-cam.com/video/3bDQZklSm1Y/v-deo.html You even used the same scene, same light colour. Lazy af.
Too slow and heavy, might be good option, when you need a lot of tweaking, but otherwise puzzle mat or just get things right in 3D :)
Dude Im surprised you only have 1k subs! you deserve so much more! The way you explain things is really good and I love how you take into consideration the other details as well which helps me understand the program further. This is way better than the usual "follow me" tutorials and I learned so much
Thank you so much, was looking for a very similar effect, and I've been doing it all wrong trying with particles and wind, this tutorial is more than I could expect!
the solution is at 3:53 and last 6 seconds.
Hi, I have sticking objects (as if they do not have a solid body) when I try to put them together at 20.51 minutes, as if they are not rigid enough, I do not know what is wrong, can you please advise?😥
hey im struggling to find where the refraction roughness is and the bump input? i dont know where to connect my bump map etc. into
I just switch to Redshift , I saw a lots of good things here, thanks! Quick question ; what is your desktop theme, looks great?
I'm new to 3D world so I have ceratin questions if you can answer those: - Can we created this in blender which is free - If not then which C4D version to buy maxon, redshift or something else
Your genius! love it!
Waaay too advanced for a beginner. Just not clear enough. :(
Thanks! Starting Houdini in 2024 and I have a question - is this video still relevant with Houdini 20 being launched now?
Yes it is! Everything carries over - Houdini 20 just has more bells and whistles now.
Thanks, I love your tutorials!!!
Thanks for the tut

Thanks for the great video, my problem is with the rendering of a scene with volumetric light, no matter what codec I select to convert my image sequence into, where there's the volumetric light even over alpha background, the result is very blocky and it's clipping. Do you have any tips and how to deal with that issue?
Bryonnnnnn, found you on youtube! :) love the tutorial.
Great tutorial! Very solid tips and workflow for lighting, thanks!
sir! you need to create more content. YOU have great current content that informs very well. I know, you are busy, but come on... you got good knowledge that I want.
Thanks for the kind words, working on it!
Not what I initially searched for, but glad I got here!

nice stuff and beautiful daughter, waiting for new tutorials about simulations and textures. thanks a lot
Hi, your videos are amazing. Very inspiring. Can you do a tutorial on video rendering optimization ?
Thank you! Yeah I might be doing a video on optimizing renders sooner than later. Anything specifically you wanted to know more about in regards to optimization?
You are so talented! I like the intro & close… (lil girl was cute too!) lol
The cameo was SO SWEET! hahaha also this is beautiful. I love creating softbody sims (prob my fav thing to make), but i def agree the settings can get finnicky at times! Thanks for this tut!
Thanks for the watch Jess!
@@slaybeast absolutely!
Amazing content as always!!! Your effort really shows Slaybeast, grateful for the knowledge you share and the insights you give us. Now about the video format, I think this one is the best so far, the short introduction with a quick walkthrough helps us to visualize the final result, so we don't go blindfolded, making the whole experience smoother. Also, thx for the wallpapers.
Right on - thanks for the feedback and the support Gustavo! Much appreciated
I like seeing your hot face in the intro. Keep it in.
That’s why the Node editor is better for me - solo feature for any node is already there )
Everyone will be switching to node editor soon enough!

Me gusto mucho el tutorial, enseñaste temas que son un poco complicados, con mucha facilidad y buenos consejos y ejemplos prácticos muchas gracias
Your videos recently popped up on my feed, and I'm so thankful they did. Love how you approach distilling your topics and feel immensely grateful for your time and contributions!
Thanks for the kind words, and the support! Welcome aboard!
I read somewhere that it’s a bug. Uncheck it so it’s not adding file size in the multi pass and use Direct Output.
Awesome
Thanks for the tutorial man! I actually have all my textures off/ washed off when I export from Quixel, is there anything I'm missing?
Hey Julien - sorry I'm just now seeing this! You shouldn't be losing any textures when exporting - I would double check and make sure all your output paths are going to the right place. Let me know if you're still having issues
thank you that was helpful
Bump map have problem m friend
Love you
smart and simple setup, great stuff.
Great video! Love the content and very helpful!
❤️❤️
This is a great tutorial. I have used "selected object as camera" before to position my lights and it made the process so much easier (using 9 lights on a car!) but it's nice to see how other artists approach this workflow. Glad to have you in my list of channels!
Glad to hear Mike! Thanks for the support!
