I do sometimes if it detects to much load on the engine usually climbing up a steep hill in 5th the cruse controll will turn off letting u know to downshift
I’m not sure never paid attention to it I was running e85 in it for the past 2 years because the injectors were bad not using e85 would make the engine ping/spark knock under load but last month I finally put new injectors in it now I use regular gas it doesn’t ping anymore also noticed it gets little better gas mileage now with regular gas I’ll do some more videos on it soon
Did you use cruise control at all? And if so how does it work in 5th gear?

It was really windy on the highway with the camper shell on it the wind just pushes the truck all over the road
