I'd forgotten that Fabbri didn't actually quite make the cut for this list in remembering one or two massive fouls from the season. He could have dropped ~23m but it didn't quite happen. Already in 2024 though he's knocking on that door.

Please Crouser give discus a go after the Paris Os. Get in that mix with Alekna, Ceh and Stahl. Imagine how scintillating that would be. But I know he says the techniques between shot and discus rotation are somewhat at odds with each other, building problematic habits. I just want to see Ryan push the boat out and go for a next level of greatness given that he also has incredible natural talent for the discus as well as the shot.

Coming back here once Mykolas broke world record (74.08) with 74.35 throw which stood for 38 years at the age of 21. Fun fact I used to throw discus and even got a pair of Virgilius throwing shoes once as I couldn't find ones my size (49 EU) at the time so he have me a brand new pair he had. What a speacial man he is.

Crazy how much changes in a year.. given that he has now broke the world record the longest standing mens track field event. And he's only 21! He and the 25 year old CEH are both destined to go back and forth breaking the record over and over the next few years. I feel like Ceh is is 6'9 is very close as well. But that Alekna at only 6'4 and not nearly his dad's size broke the record is amazing. He has a long career ahead of him.

That´s a open field, so can it really be approved ? Jay Silvester once stopped his car in the 60th during hurricane, picked up his discus from the trunk and throw it 73m from scratch without warm up.. wind helps a lot and wind always blows in the States in favour to the athletics like Florence 10.49.... the flags stod straight and 0.0 wind.
