I left my stuff in what I was told was proper "storage" by our usual house mover (my brother uses him for his business alot)..turns out it was his girlfriends dingy unsecured basement...Someone lifted my Stan Solo Iconicon Boba Fett...I never even had a chance to display him before I moved out..I gotten a great deal on him from SS, cuz I think it was the last one he had...everything on the secondary market is over 300 bones. Im...not happy..but so much bad crap has happened to me this year..Im weirdly kind of taking it in stride. Im never gonna get that figure back....I know that...but Im giving him the time to do whats right and compensate me for my Boba....I was pretty diplomatic..I never said HE stole it..just that it WAS STOLEN under his watch...therefore as the Boss, he is responsible for it. I went on a crazy buying splurge during Covidiocy...I shoulda never done that.

Very nice! Other than a few understandable paint rubs, these are in amazing shape! Super nice that Hoth Luke is complete. Nice case too. Too bad the tray is cracked but its not bad for that kind of plastic.

Fisher Price Adventure People also had some cool space figures that would have fit in there. I remember having a green transparent guy and a green transparent lady from that line.

i didn't know the figs came with the case until i was into the video, was this a real world sale or an ebay situation? if it was a garage sale in the real world, that would be a good find

Always love seeing a Lobot. He was one of my childhood favorites. One of my grandparents bought me this case when I was a kid instead of the Kenner one and spoiled little brat I was, I cried until they went to Gibsons and exchanged it and paid the extra for the right one. Now I wish I'd been less of a brat and kept it because it's such a cool piece.

Good score! When you are coming up on the full line of collection, you have to start looking for the next collection. Regardless of what it is, if a vintage toy catches my eye, I pick it up. That is how new collections start! LoL!

Nice! I picked up the same case at a toy fair in the UK in October and it's the Space Case one. It was in similar condition and the trays were in real good condition. Not easy to come by these over here as they are Sears, so imported. I was very happy with deal I got too and I think it's just quirky to have a generic case rather than the SW ones.

In 1997 I bought an authentic blue Leia gun at a toy show for 25 cents. I also bought an authentic Death Star rope from the same dealer for 25 cents, too, I believe. Awesome prices before they went insane.

You can get repro land speeder decals for very low cost but look great from what I can tell.

These companies need to form a website that fans can purchase a membership to that would allow the fans to create their own 3D playsets and allow others to download the file to print them out for a reasonable price. I guess it would be like buying a license to make STAR WARS Toys, this way Hasbro can get their $ without cost, creators can make amazing projects without getting sued while earning a buck and best of all fans can have something that's worth having for generations to come.

I've seen Toy Polloi on UA-cam use a certain dye to recolor Max Rebo. It worked rather well. At this stage I'm not against restorations like that if they work well, or near-perfect repro accessories.

It's really amazing to see these things what 44 years later just like I would have held them for a fraction of a second! Cardboard and plastic flying everywhere to get the new action figure out. I know they exist still in the package I just wonder how many exist. I REALLY want to know how the kid contained his or her self and didn't open them!! Or is it more stock that didn't sell and some store employee have the foresight to know holding on to them for years in the package would be a part of a retirement fund? I sure wish I had done that, I had A LOT of different Star Wars toys. But then again it was a lot of fun using your imagination playing with the things. Anyway that's really cool. I can definitely understand the excitement.

As much as i like some of Hasbros veichels, I will say that i do prefer the option to make your own diorama and jts why i think the cantina faile interms of getting full backers. Because people who wanted the cantina either had their own made or couldn't justify paying 500. And im haply it failed because i think in the age of the Internet and what people make is really cool in term of something can be in a show and they can make it within a week just like when the bad batch was out and people had they're own figures out for them and 3 years later hasbro hasnt made alot of bad batch toys 3.75 anyway.

Wow those look great. I would to have these diorama. I collect kenner and new hasbro vintage collection. I get what you say about hasbro, but....to play devil's advocate, it's mostly because of the huge royalties they have to pay to Disney. You look at hasbro 13 ,14 years ago and they gave us some amazing pieces. The the big millennium falcon and AT AT have to be 2 of my favorite pieces. They were pumping out so many amazing figures and vehicles at great prices. And then Disney bought Lucas film. All of a sudden we got less figures and they got more expensive and reused. I'm sure if kenner was still around they're hands would have been tied to today. Anyway, great video and love your channel

I love the vintage stuff, had almost all of it except some ships and several of those last 17.. I had the Ewoks, and Anakin.. so there was like 13-14 figures I missed.. and I didn't miss, I had them in hand at Kaybee Toys, and my mom denied me, said all my star wars was in the top of the closet and she didnt want to dig them down just because I had a stormtrooper Luke in hand.. will never forget that day!!.. that's a grail figure for me now!! But I also love some of the power of the force and power of the Jedi from the 90s.. love that era of time, loved collecting in my late teens and nostalgia those figures hold, they had some good stuff mixed in there, like Tarkin, Admiral Piett, the Luke and Bacta tank, Bantha, Jek Porkins, Slave Leia, expanded universe and Shadows of the Empire.. plus most of the vehicles were originals with new decals and paint apps.. Only newer things that I still own is a Saga AT-AT i found for less than $100 on market place a few years ago, its massive and I love it!! And a few of the playsets like Jabbas throne room wall with han in Carbonite, and the Corridor wall from new hope.. and some retro collection, because they fit right in, and most were only purchased for $3.99 at Ross and Ollies. But to each their own, I get it with the newer stuff, I also had the Razor Crest and sold it, I sold almost all the Black Series minus a few from Return of the Jedi, most again were only purchased at the $5.99-9.99 Ross and Ollie's discount prices. But I sold off all my Clone Wars, Saga, VTC, etc.. I'm only mainly sticking to original, some 90s, and retros that I like, obviously not Reva or the Acolytes!!.. But the new Tarkin, Mon Mothma, and Yak Face reissue are worth the add.. but I've been using a power of the force Yak Face and Max Rebo band for stand ins.. if it blends or makes sense, or adds to my vintage collection in a positive way, obviously not everything was worth while, it's a pick and choose your own adventure at this point. I vibed with the originals, and my teen years and early 20s I collected the POTF religiously, sold most of it as time went on and better incarnations of the figures kept improving.. but now I just want the old stuff original and 90s.. not really Prequels, just mainly original trilogy!! I might be in the market for some stan solo, or final 17 productions and customs as well, but those get kinda pricey also. I gotta a huge list of gets and wants, sadly I used to own most of it, now I'm recollecting it!! Thankfully 90s crap is still pretty cheap most of the time.. 😉

Anyone ever make a 3D printed Death Star?

The new streets of mosiley looks cool.. I wouldn't mind getting one or two once they hit discounts.. Also they did make that hallway, it may be tvc, but you can add any figures to it you want.

These are truly fantastic. Hasbros stuff is still cool for the most part. But hard to find and always insanely overpriced. For true Star Wars fans, fan made 3D prints are the future.

I've got a few 3D printed action figures, and a couple of vehicles. For playsets however, I prefer to design and build those myself. Since I don't know anything about 3D printing myself, I design and build them from scratch.

I love that we've entered a phase where home technology can yield production quality from when we were kids. It sounds corny, but that's huge for those of us who were there or, at least, for those of us who love vintage stuff. It's the same thing with home printing - you can now make some pretty incredible cardboard-style playsets that were popular with toylines like the Lone Ranger for the time. My best guess for the future? I see toys manufacturers going the way of the dodo and instead selling downloadable plans online to print your own toys at home once the technology proliferates into every household as a normal thing.

These are great, Hasbro have stupidly not brought any playsets for the retro collection so we are relying on these clever people to provide them. I am currently making my own vintage style Cantina, its a homage to the one you have, I gave gone Toy Polloi and making it from scratch. I refuse to pay the money Hasbro want for thiers.
