I dont feel buying baseball players during their hype and during the season is the smartest play. I feel buying Wemby during the offseason is a great play. His prices are way down, but if he takes that next step, theyll shoot back up next season.

I disagree on your baseball takes. I think Dominguez is a big buy, considering the prospect pedigree, how young he is, and the market he’s in in NY. Yes he’s had some injuries, but his card prices reflect that, and they’re dirt cheap, and that leaves an insane amount of room for them to blow up once he gets called up and performs. I’m not buying elly, just because of how inflated his prices are, and most of the time, a .240 hitter with 25 home runs doesnt, and shouldn’t have the same card prices like a HOF (Mookie). I think his cards will regress before they skyrocket. I do agree that it’s easy to make money on his cards in the short term though just because of all the hype! And lastly, I love paul skenes, I’m an LSU fan. But investing $450 in a base bowman 1st auto of a pitcher who could very easily get hurt, isn’t usually a good idea. To keep up these prices, he’d have to stay healthy, and pitch like this for 10 years straight. No doubt he’s a stud though

I'm 10 seconds in and I buy topps now and panini instant sometimes. Topps blows them away. Half of instants are gradeworthy. The Nows are usually always gradeworthy. Just another way of panini making money while ignoring basic wants we hobbyists desire.

Grading is 💯 the way to go, I personally started grading to build my collection, knowing that they would absolutely preserve and hold the value. I’ve found that a lot of people are hesitant to grade, and it’s become a way for me to grow my collection by selling graded cards as well. I never thought that’s where I’d go but I’m hooked on grading, and I love selling my cards to others looking to build their collections as well 👊🏼

Do you put stickers with prices on top loaders for raw cards?? Gearing up for my first show as a vendor and I’m not sure if that will make ppl less interested due to possibly leaving a mark behind on the top loader. Would love your input if possible!!

That tool is called a tile cutter or tile nipper. If you resub I think you will still get an 8 if you are lucky (from the video I see minor surface issues). If you are submitting cards thicker than 55pt, usually the best you can hope for is a PSA9. Being that PSA9s usually sell for about the price of raw cards I would not resub. I have a numbered Herbert optic rookie that I purchased from eBay as a PSA8. I would love to crack and resub because I think it could gem. My question to anyone who knows is if I crack a numbered card, will PSA recognize that they have already graded that card because of its serial number?

mercari is full of scams, they make you send it into an authentication company to prove its inauthentic before issuing refunds, even then they give you a credit to get scammed again on mercari! Brutal...

I recently bought a fake Mahomes kaboom and resold it on eBay the card looked great these scammers are getting really sophisticated

I don't get "giving" PSA money to grade a card, and then Crack it open, only to spend money to have it graded again. Boycott PSA.

I have been buying and selling sports cards for over 20 years. But I have slowly started stepping away from sports cards. I have been making the most sells in the "Pokémon" and "Video Game" markets. Vintage video game market gets the most sells. If I do buy any sports cards it mostly one or two at a time, and for the most part it's vintage pre 70's or Griffey Rookies all whys.
