Will the VFC stock fit an AP5 M?
@@docp1998 nope. That’s a 2 pin receiver (K style receiver).
Is there one for the K model?
Not very durable though. Tried one. Its starting to come apart
Proof that the "real thing" is grossly overpriced. Old mechanic/machinist trick. Stick the buffer in the fridge for about an hour, heat up the receiver with a heat gun to about the temp of a cup of coffee or so. Buffer should just drop in. You don't want to heat up both, you want the buffer to shrink, and the receiver to expand. :)
Which holster for 1911 with these old 310r flashlights?
Does the VFC V1911 hold well and not fail in a real firearm? Since its for airsoft replicas. Nice video, thanks.
I am curious as well I figure the slide stop might not be exactly right but there is a company that still produces 610/310r slide stops so maybe it might be good for a range toy.
I can see a mad rush on these should the ATF rule be overturned.
how am i just now seeing this after i ordered a kes that didnt fit and just orderd the magpul sl lol
@bobbyhill7948 - Same here...
MAC-5 owner here. Thanks McDorkin, you saved me a lot of money. It took about 2 weeks to get mine and yes, the A3 stock adds the cool factor. I will say though, there's no comparison between the A2 and the A3 stock in terms of check weld / shootability. If I needed to pack for concealment, the A3 will go on. But I forsee that I'll run the A2 the majority of the time.
Do you have a site that you sell this product
Great clearance 👍👍👍
I dig it. Structural schmucktural .. Righto
Bro I just found this video and ordered 2 you are a life saver
I want to do it however I don’t trust their shipping n cost got a source in USA where I can get 1

What spring rate springs do you have?
@@joshjones1675 they come with 172lbs/in springs
Since you machined this slide stop, you think you can machine more I’m in the search for my surefire 310r?
I Did the same for my two seater 3 wheeler I found 3 can am wheels and I used 3/8 plate steel to make a wheeler adapter to a 4” lug hub too 137 lug and put in studs
@@caseybinion806 that’s awesome and way to be resourceful.
grease it up and slip it in big boy..
Great idea for ease of entry/exit, but a big sacrifice in strength.
Nice idea with the door mate. What predator engine are you going to use, I assume it’s one of the bigger ones? I’d thought about those for a build but when you cost in the engine and the 40 series torque converter, you might as well get a small motorbike engine, say a 400. With that you’ll get a bit better performance, reliability, gears and probably an easier installation. Just a thought mate 👍🏻
Dude I love it! I can’t believe you got that bender to work, I love the logic on using erw and finally I love the door! Awesome ideas and awesome build man 👍

That lower with the pictogram can i get for a ap5? On vfc?
It is a cheap alternative indeed. But keep in mind that the quality is no way near a real HK A3 stock. Also those VFC A3 stocks wobble quiet a bit on the gun.
HK quality is subpar. They sell to military for dirt cheap but to civilians they jack up the price 10 fold. No wonder Sig beat them in every military contract possible
HK parts are cheap made. Only suckers buy actual HK parts only because of the name.
Did you know you can drop your hammer without doing the pinch with the fingers??
WANNA know another secret?? The same company makes trigger housings that are completely compatible with full 4 pictograph markings for $33. instead of paying $400-700-900. The ONLY real difference is the front and rear pin areas are NOT steel reinforced. Its all plastic. I have 2 and haven't had any problems with them. Everything is still tight, and there is no modifications to make anything fit.
Yup! I have one of those too. It fit solid after modifying it for my PTR’s semi-auto shelf. I saw a guy a few months ago trying to sell one of the VFC housings for $600. He was trying to pass it off as legit HK
@@CollegeBudgetPrepper BOO!! Bad sportsmanship!! All my HK "Type" rifles have a pictograph lowers. I like the look of the full 4 position.. I have a real HK grip on the HK33 Clone. Somebody found that an airsoft pictograph style airsoft lower fit my GSG MP5 .22 clone. and now these VPC lowers on my 2 MP5 (clones). I'm a happy camper.. I hate to mix airsoft parts with real firearms, its ingenuous, but $700 is $700, when $33. will do just fine.
Link me please i beg of you
@@CollegeBudgetPrepperhave a link for these housings?
Where do you find the hand guard?
Ridiculous, protracted video just to tell us about an airsoft stock. This video should have been 30 seconds long.
Thanks for stopping by. I bet you’re lots of fun at parties.
@@CollegeBudgetPrepper Bro, everyone at the party would have left you standing in the kitchen talking to yourself 2 minutes into that nonsense. Twenty minutes to tell us about an airsoft stock? Are you serious? Maybe if you add more hand gestures to fill the time?
Loser
@@someguy5035 u a sad 🤡
Why don't they make lights like this anymore. Maybe even had LEDs to it. Surefire or some company would really rake in the dough.
Do you know where I can find the VFC MP5A5 GBBR STOCK BUFFER , all out of stock.
Malkof makes a head that will drop on the original 310. I assume it will drop on the copy too
Do you know which one it is?
But the A2 stock makes for one hell of a rigid club😂😂😂
It is good for the range but, are you really sure you wanna depend your life on a airsoft stock and clone SF628 unit in a life and death situation ?
These aren't bad. I bought one of these and they're certainly fine, works well, but when I ran it suppressed the back pressure beat some of the parts loose. This is also after well over five thousand rounds, so for the price it's not bad at all.
Hey there, im trying to put together a sort of retro/modern build, a 1911 gi with an rds and the v1911 light. I was wondering if you had any luck finding holsters. Im having a little trouble with something that specific
Yeah holster options are pretty sparse. The most plentiful would be the old Blackhawk, Eagle, LBT nylon holsters from the 90’s and early 00’s that were light bearing. Something nicer is the offerings from Safariland. The model you need is the 6004-536-xxx or the 6004-533-xxx. The difference between the 536 and 533 is the 536 fit the longer 610R while the 533 is meant for the shorter 310. However, the 536 will work for both the 310 and 610 lights. The last xxx is for the color of the holster and right vs left hand. For example, 6004-536-121 is a right hand model in black where as the 6004-536-122 is the same thing, but left hand model.
@@CollegeBudgetPrepper I was aware of the 6004, I'm just not completely confident it is compatible with an optic, I didn't think of blackhawk as I was imagining it in a hard-shell holster
@@sulkingsalamander6181 oh yeah I wasn’t even thinking about the optic. If you buy the 6004, I’m sure you could Dremel some of the kydex away for the optic
@@CollegeBudgetPrepper I was thinking about that option as I have done that before, I believe nothing will be very easy with my needlessly specific build
@@sulkingsalamander6181 good luck with it, and post a video once you get it built.
That's awesome! I'll never understand why these radios get so much hate. I love mine
Same. Mine has been great!
U planning on getting the kdu for it?
I’ve considered it. I’m just trying to justify the use case for it. I could definitely see myself using it with a backpack or if / when I use it with a plate carrier. I mostly use this for Ham radio stuff at the moment. It’s way nicer quality and better performance than my Baofengs have been. I can hit the repeater I talk on most 22.5 miles away from my house on this unit and the stock TRI antenna. Fellow Hams tell me they are reading me “loud and clear”. However, the Baofengs I have struggle at that distance, and can only hit the repeater well if I am using an Abbree folding blade antenna. Even then I get reports that my audio is low and not very clear.
What about AIRSOFT hand guard are the AIRSOFT compatible?
Yes the VFC GBB series is. Such as the Surefire and KAC rail clones. Again I can comply confirm for the VFC GBB parts
Just wanted to drop you a line to say THANK YOU for posting this!!! I was just about to pay $400-$500 for an MKE stock when this came across my feed. Immediately ordered one from overseas on a Thursday and it showed up Monday! Just like everyone said its a perfect fit with zero wobble. I paid $150 with the expedited shipping so you saved me lots of dough. Thanks again brother!
Good to hear, and I’m glad I could help!
8:57 at the top where the recoil spring is supposed to sit in a real one doesn't sit in these so it pushes out on the stock. Look at a real one then look at this one.
Well with the push pin installed it can push all it wants but the stock is staying in place so the spring therefore is staying in the detent
@@jasoncatoe5849 itll take a while to get here but let me know how it works out
“$1,000 or more” what are you smoking? Mint HK stocks go for $600 max I got a VFC one today from Red Wolf, shipped with the buffer.
At the time of me making this video (June 2022), the classic A3s (not A3F) new in wrap were fetching upwards of $1,000 on Gunbroker. HK parts at one point had one for $1,500. So, no… I wasn’t smoking anything. Glad you went with a VFC stock. For the price it’s an extremely good option. MKE is also good now those are being imported.
I came across your video on the VFC A3 MP5 video and had some a question. Have you looked at the VFC Stock for the MP5K? I actually ordered one and fits perfect and looks identical to the original. Also ordered some Navy trigger housings (0,1,3,F) and (0,1,F) now those are a little lighter on the plastic and rear tang is not metal, it’s all plastic. But the trigger pack from my SP5 fits in without any issues. Don’t know if you ever tried this out? I haven’t had a chance to hit the range yet but will soon…
Hey man. I haven’t looked into the K stocks, but I’ve heard from others that they worked really good. The nice thing is that VFC used real receiver dimensions. Yeah I also have one of the VFC trigger housings, but I have an SEF pack which needs the detent holes in the housing for the selector detent to click into. I could drill the plastic housing, but I’m concerned it may be a waste if the detents wear out. You should definitely make a video on your K stock though and post up your experience with them.
@@CollegeBudgetPrepper I will once I get the time. I’ll also maybe talk a little about the housings. I just ordered the actual burst packs selector levers (from VFC) and will inspect quality before I try them. I do know that VFC uses metal trigger housings, plenty of videos on UA-cam
Where did you get that lower ? Will it accept binary group from Franklin?
Hey man could you tell me what size allen wrench or hex key you used on the set screw on the vfc light??
I got one for 150 USD, come with a second hand SAFARILAND 6004
Nice! Are you looking to sell it?
the stock isnt the only part that fits on a real one BTW ;)
so this is why i haven't been able to find a stock for my VFC MP5...
I just recently purchase a Tisas 1911 in 9mm. And I'm currently waiting on my Vfc 1911 lght to arrive. My question is will the real steel surefire slide catch still work on the vfc light???
Yes. A real slide stop for a 610R or 310R will work perfectly with the VFC light.
Wait we can put real gun stuff on our "Airsoft Replicas" I'm in the UK am I able to buy these stocks anywhere ???
