I am curious as well I figure the slide stop might not be exactly right but there is a company that still produces 610/310r slide stops so maybe it might be good for a range toy.
Hey there, im trying to put together a sort of retro/modern build, a 1911 gi with an rds and the v1911 light. I was wondering if you had any luck finding holsters. Im having a little trouble with something that specific
Yeah holster options are pretty sparse. The most plentiful would be the old Blackhawk, Eagle, LBT nylon holsters from the 90’s and early 00’s that were light bearing. Something nicer is the offerings from Safariland. The model you need is the 6004-536-xxx or the 6004-533-xxx. The difference between the 536 and 533 is the 536 fit the longer 610R while the 533 is meant for the shorter 310. However, the 536 will work for both the 310 and 610 lights. The last xxx is for the color of the holster and right vs left hand. For example, 6004-536-121 is a right hand model in black where as the 6004-536-122 is the same thing, but left hand model.
@@McDorkin I was aware of the 6004, I'm just not completely confident it is compatible with an optic, I didn't think of blackhawk as I was imagining it in a hard-shell holster
@@sulkingsalamander6181 oh yeah I wasn’t even thinking about the optic. If you buy the 6004, I’m sure you could Dremel some of the kydex away for the optic
Does the VFC V1911 hold well and not fail in a real firearm? Since its for airsoft replicas. Nice video, thanks.

@@McDorkin I was thinking about that option as I have done that before, I believe nothing will be very easy with my needlessly specific build
@@sulkingsalamander6181 good luck with it, and post a video once you get it built.
Very cool
Hey man hows that vfc stock holding up 8 months later?
I’ve actually had it since November 2021 and it has been great!
Hey man could you tell me what size allen wrench or hex key you used on the set screw on the vfc light??
