I’ve considered it. I’m just trying to justify the use case for it. I could definitely see myself using it with a backpack or if / when I use it with a plate carrier. I mostly use this for Ham radio stuff at the moment. It’s way nicer quality and better performance than my Baofengs have been. I can hit the repeater I talk on most 22.5 miles away from my house on this unit and the stock TRI antenna. Fellow Hams tell me they are reading me “loud and clear”. However, the Baofengs I have struggle at that distance, and can only hit the repeater well if I am using an Abbree folding blade antenna. Even then I get reports that my audio is low and not very clear.
That's awesome! I'll never understand why these radios get so much hate. I love mine
Same. Mine has been great!
I need some help programming my tri prc 152. Would you be willing to help.
@@philclark6175 I can sure try. What do you need to program into it?
U planning on getting the kdu for it?
