A really fitting tribute. My favourite would be a vintage Gibson J45 but I'd have to be selective. If I were buying online without even trying it would be a Martin 00015 SM for pure consistency.

After first seeing a number of these videos regarding this particular instrument I wanted one. Couldn't afford but was able to locate a Sigma version 00015MC. One of my fav guitars. I love mahogany tone.

This has been my dream guitar for a decade, and I finally got it last year.. Everything i need and nothing i dont. I don't need a bunch of abalone shell or other fancy inlays that don't directly support tone quality. I don't need the flash, just the soul. And every day, it manages to sound better somehow.

Hey, Chris. Have some news for you....I just bought a 2022 Taylor 717 Builder's edition in mint condition for $2,100 on Reverb. Not a mark on it!!! Only played a handful of times by the original owner. Never even been registered with Taylor!!! I registered it in my name. Great guitar for a steal!!! Saved $1,400!!! It's basically a new guitar!!! Cheers, brother!!! Hope all is well and you can make a new video soon.

It sounds just like -- -- -- a guitar.

I already have the E1OM and I remember when I got it I was blown away by the quality, the sound, the looks (classic), the choice of wood, the bone nut and saddle and the overall craftsmanship for a ridiculously low price. I have my Martins and my Gibsons and I’ll never get rid of them, because they’re great. But it’s so much fun to experiment with different tunings and such, like a Nashville tuned guitar, or a guitar in C standard. Now I would feel silly to buy an expensive Martin D-18 for Nashville tuning. But I can totally see me buying an Eastman E1D for that purpose. Or…. when you’re the type of person to go to weird parties and you want to take your dreadnought with you everywhere you go, this might be the way to go. And… ONLY because of the price, because if this was built in the USA you’d probably have to pay a price similar to a Martin 000-16 (Streetmaster), or a 000-17 Black Smoke. Best bang for the buck for sure! 🧡

I put Thomastik-Infeld rope core strings on mine and it from another planet. so warm and beautiful, so easy to play, nothing comes close. try it out, you wont regret it.

For me having had both I much prefer the 00015m for fingerpicking. A bit punchier and more clarity.
