I'm genuinely confused about why people think SAIN is a good mod. I tried it, and was killed three raids in a row the moment I went to consume a provision or heal. I'm not a dummy, I don't do these things out in the open, or when a scav or PMC is aware of my presence. Yet, it didn't matter, literally no matter what I did, the very moment I went to heal or consume a provision an AI showed up and instantly killed me. This isn't replicating the live version, it's making SPT feel like 25 cheaters are on the map at all times. When I installed the mod I left it default, I guess I could go through and make changes but I'm confused as to how the author of the mod thought this was reasonable. If I wanted to deal with cheaters, I'd go play live Tarkov. I get the feeling a lot of people say this mod is good, for no other reason than other people say it's good. My experience with it was the opposite, and I need to be more careful now about trusting what the SPT community considers a good mod, because SAIN simply isn't. In my four years playing live Tarkov, I haven't been killed a single time consuming a provision. In three raids playing SPT with SAIN I was killed twice while consuming a provision, and once while healing. If people find this "fun", then they have a very different definition of fun than I do. I find it absurd and will never use this mod again. I like the idea of more natural scav behavior, and along with waypoints liked the idea of AI roaming the entire map, but those benefits are far outweighed by what I've mentioned above.

One thing ive found thats worked WONDERS is ironically FSR 3.0 while having an Nvidia GPU. It actually gives much better performance when running locally than DLSS. This fixed my issues on live EFT that i still play because the newest update is even worse with performance, that fixed it there and it completely fixes the issue on SPT. Youll still get the slow frame time issue when spawn waves occur but, this happens on live EFT pve as well but it generally doesnt last long. 5800X3D and a 3060 12gb with 32gb of RAM and i have zero issues outside of the known issues of the frame times slowing down with spawns. Your mileage may vary but try it, worst case scenario it doesnt work and you go back to your preferred upscaler. However, if you do try and it works to a noticeable degree, mind dropping a comment saying if it worked? Im coming up with my own list of things for helping with eft performance and i wanna see if this is specific to me or not

Sup, gents. Vox, thanks for keeping us in the loop about Tarkov, the game I have been playing occasionally from the days they had us break our legs at spawning. Obviously, I left my hopes for having a playable online version long time ago, since I don't have so much time and active buddies nowadays anyway. However, I actually tried SPT thanks to one of your videos, but I don't keep tabs on game updates too much. Though I've been thinking about updating SPT for a while now, and as always I got tons of questions. 1. My current version is 3.7.6 now, slightly modded. Nothing too fancy, just basic stuff: MoreCheckmarksBackend 1.5.9 Мод SPT Realism Mod 0.14.12 Мод SAIN 2.1.8 Мод DrakiaXYZ-Waypoints 1.3.4 Is it sensible to update the version content-wise? I know that the recoil and armor system were reworked, BSG added a new map, got factory enchansed and some other small stuff as well. As far as I understand it's basically impossible to update 3.7.6 to current one without losing progress, right? I am lvl 36 now, nicely decked out and I would not want to lose all that progress cause of the update. I am not a pro gamer in any way so it took a while for me to get there. Is there any way to keep both SPT versions, for example? Legacy, so to speak, and a new one? 2. Your modlist under the video. Do I understand correctly that all those mods are compatible with the current version and each other? How is the new version performance wise? I know that tarkov is barely getting optimised at all, but maybe there have been some improvements. On 3.7.6 streets were basically unplayable and I get some major hiccups from time to time with other maps. I have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 32 gb RAM and Intel i9-10900 2.8GHz. Sometimes it's all good and sometimes game runs like shit. I tried to tweak with graphic settings but the overall picture is still inconsistent. And last question on that part: is there any installer to the whole modlist or something like that or are they installed manually one by one? Sorry, I am not good with modding stuff if it's not prepacked. 3. Were there any significant improvements to bots behaviour? I never tried the standalone singleplayer in vanilla tarkov, but even with mods I have bots behave inconsistently. Sometimes they all spawn at one corner of the map and just kill each other instantly, and sometimes I can walk through the whole map barely meeting some AI. Sometimes they actually act sensible combat-wise, but overall they are still dumb as hell in just about anything other than reaction time and aim. Are they any better in 3.10? Anyway, guys, sorry for the loads of questions but I would really aprreciate some info on those matters. Regardless, have some nice leftover holidays and may your 2025 be full of luck and joy!

I tried to make bots easier and more realistic but somehow the game just spawns groups of 3 or 4 pmcs now that come right to you and ruin your shit right away.

Anyone have an issue with F1 or F12 not working?

I miss my spt 3.9.8 i sadly had reset my pc and lost everything. So the spt 3.10 will be waiting till mods are updated. Excited to play it however with the new factory.

Not a fan of reshade cause the developer is hella shady. Someone found code in the program that makes it where if you modify the source code at all it will forcibly shit down your pc. No idea if that code is still in there, but they lost my trust.

sucks i cant get spt 3.9 because a lot of good mods are still on hold like realism, ruined my day because i was going to get back into spt and realism is the only thing that makes spt and the other mods worth it.
