Yup, exactly what I want to know. I would buy an unloved, unwanted RX8 next week and keep it forever if I knew I could find a more reliable option than the renesis and to me it means a 13b swap.... Trick is, if the engine is older than the chassis vin it should be illegal, so someone needs to tell me how this can be done in Australia. I don't question how awesome this is, it is exactly what I want, but if I cannot do it legally then what really is the point other than an expensive trailer ornament to lug to track weekends for those wealthy enough for everything needed to tow it around?

Have you even driven a car before? 300 wheel kilowatts is plenty for a light car like that. Any more and you won't be able to stick to the road when you get into the mountains

It made 378kw at the wheels that’s huge for a light body rx7!! I made 190rwkw in a 180sx and ran 12.9 Also now in my fg xr6 turbo 355rwkw and ran 11.6 So this rx7 is a 10 second car for sure

it runs a pulsar g40 turbo no water/meth the intercooler is pretty efficient its only 10-12* above ambient temp

no magnetic plug. run inline filters or screens on the line to collect any material from oil pan oil cooler can be plumbed inline with the pressure line prior to entering oil into the engine

If I had to guess, probably 10-20k usd. 😂

⁠@@coreyworthington2797 probably more tbh, my 13B has been about that for a complete refresher, turbo, ecu & fuel system, 6 speed conversion & I still need to get a bunch more 😂 then people wonder why a build takes a decade or more sometimes 😅

a brand new 3 rotor pp engine like this we sell for $30k aud roughly $18k usd thats complete with intake manifold and throttle bodies fuel injectors oil pan and pick up

its an unknown quality. we presume its an original engine with 107k km on it but being unknown quality thats why we didnt increase boost over standard 10psi boost turbos are standard and have small amount of oil leaking into the exhaust hence the smoke

Those are basically lowish stock Dyno numbers. I'd do a compression check on that engine ASAP.
