I work for the government and we all get Truth and Reconciliation Day off Also, for the prayer room they were very accommodating. I now pray in my office cause the previous room windows weren’t blurred and ppl could see if they looked. My manager even gave me a DND sign to hang on my door lool

ok ok because I see Amir stressssing over the home aesthetic which I 1000% felt when I first got married and ended up changing aesthetics a couple times before finally getting it settled. biggest advice is to not go with trends that are clearly temporary like blue couch etc (I went through a purple couch phase lmao) but instead start with basic, classic neutrals that you can build with and add your own style to with accents. not too traditional and not too modern, just good transitional basic pieces that are more like blank canvases that you can add your own style with pillows and throws etc. If you pinterest “timeless” and “quiet luxury aesthetic” you’ll find some ideas! also, if you and wifey need help, ask Aysha she has great taste and experience ma’shaa’Allah

As a planner I find myself either stuck in the past because of the comfort of nostalgia BUT thinking about what i should expect ahead makes me always future-focused, so it can be hard to be present. Vacations are definitely my only time where I feel “free” to just enjoy where I’m at, bc usually I’m not the planner for it. Prob a product of anxiety, the need to know what comes next 😅 Also, when it comes to moving out w/ your spouse, even if you’ve had experience living alone, it’s a whole new ball game when you’re literally melding together two people’s individual lives into some holistic whole - it will take time and you will be challenged and changed along the way but the amazing part is you have your partner with you on this new adventure! So you’re really not alone, and you can choose to embrace the anxiety and newness knowing you have a solid person with you ☺️ same goes for any new life experience when you’re married It’s always the people most removed from your life that feel like they can blame/pressure you on the choices you make 🙄

I remember reading some articles that mention caffeine takes 30min to properly kick in - it actually suggested the best effect is to drink it, sleep for 20min and then wake up doubly energized 😂 Also for concerns on aspartame etc i think the way people look at it is the accumulative amount of consuming it over a long period of time increasing risk. Idk about any studies showing that though
