Pioneer vs uForce comparison
This is a short overview of both vehicles showing a comparison of similar features. I did not finish this comparison because the uForce broke frequently and stayed in the dealer's shop, and I sold it a few weeks later. I was really disappointed with the uForce because I liked the look of it. Several friends have had similar experiences with their units, and also sold them.
The first time I took the uForce in for a repair was the day after I bought it. A week later, they replaced the drive belt and clutch plates and some other stuff. When I took it in for repair the second time, the dealer informed me that their earlier repairs had partially voided the power train warranty. I tried several times to get a straight explanation about this from the dealer, and I called CFMoto about it, and was never able to get the full story.
List of stuff that broke:
Winch quit working
Lights would turn on but only flash
Brake lights quit
Dash died - the dealer replaced it the day before I sold the machine
Came started peeling
Driver's side net connector would not latch
The bolts on the base plate were broken
The latch on the glove compartment broke
I could go on, but you probably get the idea by now.

Simpson Pressure Washer -- Ughhh

I had high hopes for this pressure washer. The engine locked up while I was making the video. I returned it and got a refund. Instead of buying a cheapo washer, save your money and buy a better one. Limb Cutters -- Komok vs Mellif

Both pruners are very useful tools, but also very dangerous. Komok: amzn.to/45pwQk9 Mellif: amzn.to/45pwQk9 The Komok is absolutely the better tool. Della Mini Split Installation

First off, this unit is working great for me. It has been installed for 3 weeks. This is a 12000 BTU unit. There are several Della mini-split installation videos on UA-cam. This is a review and demo of the Kobalt 10ft pole saw with the 40V Max Lithium Ion battery. I was apprehensive when I first unboxed it, but then started to really like it. 40V Kobalt Weedeater Review

All things considered, this has been a pretty good weed-eater/trimmer. I would classify it as a "maintainer" rather than a work-horse. If you keep your lawn cut and the weeds knocked down, then this is a good tool to maintain it. It can handle most common weeds and grass. It comes with the battery, charger, and about 4 feet of weak, 0.08 string. I was able to put 0.095 Stihl string in mine, and...

I'm giving an honest opinion about the Kobalt 40V chainsaw, after using it for a few weeks. It worked good for me and has a decent price point for an electric saw. Quick review of the Kobalt air compressor. As of the time of this video, I owned this for 2 months and used it numerous times. It has been working correctly with no problem. I've been doing garage woodworking for years and I love the details you present. Like you said, many woodworking videos leave out small details but the thing that is most wrong with many of them is, that you have a woodworker with a $100,000 shop trying to convince us that "this project is a piece of cake". Sure it is for you, you've got every state-of-the-art tool and 20 sponsors to make it look easy. And, if you have a shop like that, you don't need UA-cam videos. But, the most impressive thing about your video, is when you show us how you kneel down and put weight on your knees on a cold concrete floor. Ouch!

      Yep. I do the poor man's carpentry. So many of the UA-cam "pros" gloss over the things that create problems for most viewers because the "pros" have every tool ever invented, and they're very experienced. I try to show a real experience. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.

      @@MikeM100 it goes against best practices, loctite should never be used on brass fittings

    • @tomdutcher195
      @tomdutcher195 11 днів тому

      Personally, I’ve done gas propane and natural gas and HVAC for a long time. I have never used anything on a flare fitting….ever. I have never seen one loosen up from vibration or anything else for that matter. In gas work, it’s actually against code to use anything on the threads. I have just recently started using Nylog on the flare only. And that’s only because soft copper lines have gotten so much thinner in recent years. When you compress the copper flare to the brass fitting, it compresses to a certain extent and “springs” back so to speak, putting force on the nut and acting as it’s own thread locker, kind of. But, I would never use loctite on brass fittings, ever.

    • @jshireley
      @jshireley 3 дні тому

      I'm almost positive that your AC guy was referring to Nylog, not Loctite, even if he said "Loctite". They kind of look similar (the blue Loctite anyway, not red), but in HVAC work, the Nylog is used not on the threads (nothing goes on the threads for brass/copper), but on the lip of the flare itself. Also, two more suggestions if I might? - Use a hammer drill for drilling through brick or other stone/concrete stuff. It's an absolute game changer and what it was made for. That half hour brick hole of yours would have taken about 2 minutes, no kidding. - If you're installing more mini splits in your future, consider getting your own flaring tool to cut your copper lines to size. They're not that expensive for a good set. Same with a basic vacuum pump and gauge set. You'll save a LOT of money over hiring your AC friend to come do this stuff and won't have to wait on him.

    That's a lot of damn work. I'm actually doing one this week. Y'all did a great job considering the limited resources and equipment. Whether it holds up for a year or 3 months, if got out of the house during COVID. Just some friendly advice, make sure you rent a compactor and use it for the other side. Just cause the concrete got solid doesn't mean it can withstand that hill sliding. I'd pay close attention to it, but especially when driving over it in the rain. Use rebar vertically as well. Ideally you want to create and X with two different straps. The way it appears you have the straps the sxs is tied “down”, but it can still move side to side. Thanks for sharing your mounting details.

    This is an excellent review thank you. Thank you for showing how to restring it. I have the 40v leaf blower and it’s very powerful I was shocked.

    Problem is, with this one there is no way to force a boost mode for a really dead 12v battery. In other words if your 12v battery is really down, the top vision will not detect it, and not turn on, won’t supply 12v for a start.

    If you think 40 volts is good try the - 80-volt - 5-ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Kobalt Pole Saw. No cable. I’m using an Oregon Bar and Chain. I have been using it for more than 3 years now and love it. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. I carry it all over our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front. I also have (2) 80-volt 5-ah batteries 18" chain saws they are awesome.

      The 80v tools work good too. I've got a couple, but haven't used them enough to do videos. I want to give them a good workout before doing a video. I hope you guys have recovered from the latest bad weather. Down where you live, you need a chainsaw just to fight off the mosquitos. Thanks for watching.
