Hello Wayne, it depends on the microwave but i would start at 30 seconds and then rotate the boilies and go in 10 sec increments from there onwards. if they burn then start with 20secs and turn them and put them in for another 10sec increments till they are done. once you have the timing down you should be able to just rotate the boilies halfway through. Hello Graham thank you for your comment😁👍 in this instance we added citric acid and baking soda to try get them to float. So I gave them a longer boil. We need to try a few more things to see if we can get them right 👍 😁 that additional oil is a great idea 😁 will definitely try that👍 tight lines 🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@CarpFishingtip oh so they are popups? If so then overflavour them because the fish won't actually eat them but the added flavour will attract them. Why not buy some proper popup Mix from Mainline Baits? Also put some fluro in a batch

Oh interesting so the idea is the popup is just attractant? 😁 We did see all the various products available and additives. We decided not to go down that route as most videos featuring those products are really good and guys with way more experience do a great job of presenting how to use them .The idea behind this was to try see if you could create products with grocery store ingredients either cos they cheaper or you don't have the products available in your town.

@@CarpFishingtip yes basically. The carp are feeding on your free baits and the popup stands out from the freebies either by being over flavoured and/or a bright colour. You can also use the exact same as your freebies without a problem, the best way is to experiment and see what works best on your water. One of the park lakes I fish is renowned for the fish to mainly get caught on fluro orange popups, the flavour does not matter.

@@CarpFishingtip another option is to use cork balls, wrap some boilie paste around them, Roll them in the palm of your hand to make them round then boil for about 4 mins, put them in a pot and glug them

I dont think so because the heat activates the chemical process that creates the gas which gives the mixture it's bouyancy. What might work is placing the hook into the dough then boiling it🤔 Might even be able to boil mixture on hook with fishing line on it. dough should work uncooked too. Will definitely need to give it a test😁👍

Hello Kevin its basically an attempt.to forecast when the fish will be most active. As far as I know it is based off the weather pattern for the day and moon cycle. We use fish angler apps forecast page mostly because it is free and easy to read👍

Hello Yeboi_AUSTIN*, thank you the compliment and the comment 😁 we all know you can catch carp with nothing more than bread, a stick, some old line and a dream but from our experience there are like 5 flavors that are must haves, strawberry, banana, pineapple, garlic and eucalyptus. With those five you should be able to catch anywhere 😁 in terms of brands we don't think it matters. Yes some are thicker than others or more potent but honestly they all catch fish. We have used premium brands and some dodgey brands and caught on both, sometimes in the same session. Right now for us strawberry or banana with garlic and eucalyptus is working well. You should try a cluster bait or triple stack of mielies and also I’d recommend fishing margins as often bigger carp tend to hang out in the margins due to the fact that most anglers cast outwards towards the middle of the dam. The bigger carp will see the margins as safe
