Nice Video, just a tip, never try unhook a fish in the water, fastest way you will get a hook in your finger. That was one close call on almost loosing your rod.
Howzit bro. We fished there on wednesday, only by the second last lapa. Haha its was a easier spot for me to fish with the wheelchair. I caught 1 carp of about 12kg on my bass rod with earthworm and a barber of 12kg+ on my flyrod. Ironicly I caught nothing on my carp rigs 😂. Love your videos

As a beginner in fishing let me ask. When you fish with a Mealie bom, does it not happen that one of the hook bait lands underneath the bom and the fish cannot pick up?
Hey Ayanda, thanks for the comment. 😁🎣 Yes there is the possibility however if you have seen how fish eat and the way a meilie bom breakdown it's not as big an issue as you would imagine. Most of the pro anglers I watch usually push the hook bait into the meiliebom to stop tangles and the like once casting. I have noticed that once the bom.hits the water the hooks tend to come off the meiliebom and I assume float down above or near the meiliebom. Remember water has more friction so the meiliebom will move through the water quicker than the hook baits.
My friend also caught a nice baber. Was a fun morning
