Do you catch more fish in the margins at R50 dam

Hey best fisherman 😁 thanks for commenting. Yes I definitely do see to catch fish mostly int he margins on certain dams at R50 dam. As long as the margin is deep like a metre or so then it's very possible to catch fish within 10m-2m from the bank. In the video where I was the depth was about 1m Infront of the rods.

Hello Ayanda thanks for the comment 😁 that's awesome you started fishing👍 welcome to the fishing community. you sure can it's a little more challenging. What I can suggest is keep to the basics, look for structure and try meilie bombs with bol dip and without. Most importantly keep at it and try new things on at least one rod if you not catching on what you usually do. Let us know if we can give you any more advice👍😁 and tight lines🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@CarpFishingtip : thanks for a reply...... One more thing. Does fishing with corn works better on a hair rig or when it's directly on a hook?

Anytime 😁 so in our experience it doesn't matter sometimes hairrigs are better other times on the hook is better. My suggestion would be have one rig without and one with hairrigs so you can test. I only used to fish on the hook for many years before I started testing experimenting. Most of the professionals use a float with dough on a hook so I think it's person preference. Where a hairig is really useful is if there is weeds or algae on the bottom, a hairrigs with a float will keep it out of the weeds and give you a better hook up ratio.
