Have you all noticed that most friends are just there for the 'good times' or fun times and when you really need them to show up for you they come up with one excuse or another?

I have a hard time believing that you’re friendless because you seem to have a strong character.

My mom is a covert narcissist and I’m living with her and it does in fact feel like a jail, like your trapped in your own home i’m an only child and my mom is jealous of me, it’s obvious by the back handed comments, compliments, and statements that she says to me! I have a dog as a pet and she obsessed with overly cleaning everything all the time and making sure that the house is spotless, and is always complaining about the most mundane things like a cup being by the couch or bed because i’m drinking out of it or a tiny speck of dust being on the floor, she loves calling me lazy all of the time! And she obsessed with me and trying to control my life, i’m 24 and i’m trying to come up with a game plan to be able to move out, get my own place, and be on my own and have peace with just me and my pet!

Since the start of this year, I made a powerful pledge to myself. Any situation or individual that was not going to bring balance growth & positive energy to my life was no longer going to be part of it. I went out to a metal gig this past Saturday and didn't speak to a single person. My enjoyment came from the uplifting energy from Delain (awesome band). I went home very proud that I can exist in a space humble & respectful of my surroundings, where no validation is needed from anyone in oder to feel deeply rooted to my core needs. Takes many years of re wiring the internal hard drive plus discipline to free ourselves of so called social norms. Thanks for taking the time to make the vid, it relates to all of us this I am sure of.

Im 33 and single, married only once that lasted very close to a year. Its been just a constant struggle to have someone that would never leave me but no, it always fails the relationship so im fed up and have to just accept being single. Some of us man just aren’t good enough

Love will not only cure every misconception that you have, but also will get rid of any fear which creates this illusion of cruel world. No no no. Everyone is your friend here and you won't want to stay in your shell forever. I guarantee you, this is just the question of perception. The separation and borders are illusory, similarly to the separation, difference and independence of fingers on a palm of your hand. One day, you will gift your WHOLE without the remainder to Life, and it will hand you the infinite deepest feeling of how magnificently marvelous it all is in return🌙💗☀

Yes, the emptiness is real and quite depressing. I am so grateful I had the chance to have my son at 31 (pregnant at 30). I wish I had done so earlier in life... It's my biggest regret. I started feeling this way around 26 or 27. The last 4-5 years required a lot of self-reflection, dealing with grief, remorse, and acceptance. It is a journey! But I think it's important to prioritize these things in your life. You're looking for purpose and fulfillment which is a good thing...and thay should be your focus. My mom had me at 35 and my younger sister at 37 btw ❤

I appreciated every moment of this video. This resonated with me. I feel less alone after seeing this. I have been judged heavily for not having many friends when I was younger. I only have one close pal who I see once every few months. Other than that I'm on my own. Finding friends today is hard, people are draining and most of the time very self centred. This is so true! I think it comes down to no one can make you happy, happiness has to come from within. Everyone else is just supposed to be a bonus to your life. I’m starting to think this is why I have no friends anymore, because the old friends just don’t add any value to my current life and who I see myself as in my future.

Spending long periods of time with ourselves alone is not necessarily the same as being "lonely", we are indeed in great company with healing, self love, self discovery, and inner peace. The benefits of being by yourself can sometimes greatly overshadow the benefits of interacting with other people.

I’m 50, and I’m only struck by the feeling of emptiness that accompanies loneliness, when my husband is home. I have no friends. I’m not accepting resumes. It’s the feeling of disconnection with people. Most people who spend time with many people, are distracting themselves from the disconnect. Faking it. I can’t. My energy is always best, alone. It’s like I have a pleasant melody playing, until another enters, and it’s static, sends my nerves into a storm of sorts. I'm married but other than my wife, I don't really have any other close friends. She's my best and only close friend. And I like it because I don't have to divide my time between my family and my other friends.

I've been alone for 11years and have no true friends just associates. I'm a bubbly person who is strong and true to their character I'm 59. Yes people feel sorry for me and it's my fault with my relationships as well I have standards for both my friends and with men and so far no one has showed me to invest in them. Bottom line be strong being alone a lot of people see your strength and wish they had it.
