Very good video! Thanks for sharing the process. I just bought a zx10r 2007 and it has a rough idle not sure if it's from spark plugs. Hopefully changing them will fix the problem. It has yoshimura loud exhaust not sure if it's a fuel map/ o2 sensor no back pressure from the yoshimura. I don't even know if it's a full exhaust or just a slip-on. It rides nicely above 3000rpm but below that it jumps up and down worrying it will break the chain or destroy something so below 3rpm especially when I just start the bike I have to have my hand on the clutch so I can catch it when it starts jerking before it fucks up the transmission or chain. once I start going no more problems. the bike has only 12800miles on it. It also had no charging so I had to replace the stator. guy cheated me with the bike not charging sold it to me while he was charging the battery through the wall. scammers.

A tip for anyone who just got a ZX6R or a ZX10R of this year model. If that red oil pressure light is flashing, its because you need to perform a very important step to the oil change. Once you get to the point where you have put the new filter on and have filled the bike with oil again, you need to start it for a sec and spin the filter loose so that it leaks a little oil and then immediately screw it back on. Let the bike idle for a bit so the oil pump cycles through the bike. If you dont do this, you will get about 30 mins down the road and the bike will lose power and shut off. This is because the oil pressure is low since the air wasnt purged from the pump. I dont know why, but there is little to no info on this subject. I thought my bike was blown up until I talked to someone who builds Kawasaki race bikes and he explained it to me. Hope this helps if you have a bike that kicks that light on and then shuts off on you.

Resevoir is more for overflow ive found. I have a 08 zx10r and i was wondering the same thing last summer. Opened my radiator and it was full. When your coolant starts to get really hot it will start to over flow into your resevoir @@bryann8500

Just a heads up, anything besides distilled water will leave shit in your motor causing corrosion. 2, to properly flush you need to put the bolt back in, fill system with distilled water, run the motor, do this 2-3 times until it all comes out clear. Then fill. The water needs to circulate in the system to get in to all the spaces holding coolant in order to get it all out.

    • @sprangsbikelife3601
