Hi, i am Martin. On my channel Swiss Sights i show you the most beautiful places in Switzerland. As a navie Swiss, I know many wonderful sights of this country from repeated trips. This allows me to make my videos under the best possible conditions. Besides the famous and well known Swiss Sights, the unknown beauties of Switzerland are also shown.

Wilhelm Tell Hohle Gasse Küssnacht Switzerland 4K
The Hohle Gasse is a hollow lane between Küssnacht and Immensee in Switzerland where the Swiss national hero William Tell is said to have shot the bailiff Gessler. In Friedrich Schiller's drama William Tell, Tell says (IV, 3): "Through this hollow lane he must come. There is no other way to Küssnacht."
The Rütli Oath and the Tell story first appear in the chronicles in the White Book of Sarnen between 1470 and 1472.
A Tell chapel was built at the end of Hohle Gasse in 1638 to commemorate William Tell. The painting "Gessler's Death" can be found under the canopy.
Today's Hohle Gasse was once the road from Küssnacht to Immensee. As traffic increased, a bypass was built in 1937 to relieve Hohle Gasse of motorised traffic. The old road was narrowed with the help of stone blocks.

Hi! Great video! How long should I spend here ? and how long is the hike?
The waterfall is only about 10 minutes from the cable car car park. However, I would also take a walk along the beautiful Lake Lungern or take the Turren cable car with wonderful views of the Bernese Alps.

Hotel ist grottenschlecht, Bedienstete, der Tauchbasis schnorren die Gäste wegen Trinkgeld und Süssigkeiten etc an. Nie wieder dort hin !!
Was war denn schlecht im Hotel? Ich weiss nur dass der Bestizer gestorben ist und jetzt ein sogenannter "Manager" keine wirklichen Verbesserungen einbringt! Wie hat dir das Hausriff gefallen?
@@swisssights Das Hausriff ist wirklich super und empfehlenswert, wir waren 14 x im Mangrove Bay, aber nur wegen dem super Hausriff. Wir werden nicht mehr hinfahren, Grund: Das Hotel ist seit ewigen Zeiten gleich, gleich schlecht, es wird nichts gemacht. Die Zimmer/ Meerblickzimmer wurden renoviert, das heisst aber nicht, dass alles neu ist. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, aber die Uralt Klimaanlage von den 1990 er Jahren, alle 2 Tage ist sie ausgefallen, immer wurde irgendwas daran rumgebastelt, nie wurde sie ausgetauscht. Aus den alten dreckigen Dingern kommt nur Dreck raus, das war der erste Grund , Die Gebäude sind in einem schlechten Zustand, Türen schließen nicht gut, das ganze Gelände ist verdreckt und vermüllt.Das Essen war mal ganz gut, dann wieder schrecklich. Wahrscheinlich wechselt oft der Küchenchef. Was uns besonders gestört hat, dass die Bediensteten des Hotels und auch die Crew von Ducks Dive/ Personal am Steg uns wegen Trinkgeld und sonstigen Wünschen/ Schokolade/ Süßigkeiten usw angebettelt haben. Wir haben immer genug Trinkgeld verteilt, aber warum muss man für Personal dass gerade in Urlaub ist, auch noch was geben, weil man die ja kennt von den letzten Jahren.Aber uns ist aufgefallen, dass gerade die Wiederholungsgäste/ die seit Jahren jedes Jahr kommen/ wegen zusätzlichem Trinkgeld angebettelt werden. Die Preise vom Mangrove sind hoch, für den Standard zu hoch Wir haben uns für andere Hotels entschieden und werden nicht mehr dahin zurückkommen

@@user-tb4ne5vo7y Vielen Dank für die Schilderung der Probleme in diesem Resort! Es ist sehr schade dass dort im Resort nicht eine Totalsanierung stattfindet und nur partiell renoviert wird! Ich vermute dass dort an allen Ecken und Enden gespart wird und das jetzt wohl leider auch beim Essen und Personal. Es ist wohl fraglich wie lange das Resort unter diesen Umständen noch weitergeführtwerden kann......?! Viele Grüsse aus der Zentralschweiz!
