Gletscherschlucht Grindelwald Impressive Gorge Switzerland 4K

The Gletscherschlucht (glacier gorge) of Grindelwald, with its rock faces up to 300 metres high, is an impressive natural wonder in Switzerland.
In earlier times, the gorge was covered by glacial ice and even today, high rock faces bear witness to the immense power of the glacier. A spectacular 1 kilometre hiking trail leads along the gorge through rock galleries and several tunnels. The path is easy to walk and accessible in all weathers.
A highlight is the 170 m2 "spider's web" that has been stretched across the gorge to walk on and offers a spectacular view of the Lütschine River.
