7:19 so true. I have thankfully saved my photos for the last 12 years and I still look back on them. Are they how I would compose/shoot those scenes now? No, but I appreciate the moment I captured and looking at how my shooting & editing has changed over the years.

Not sure how practical it would be exactly, but using the Gameboy Digital Camera could be interesting. The photos would be roughly 128 pixels square and effectively black and white with minimal dynamic range. Could be interesting but also a challenge
I've always wanted one of those back when I was a kid and still had a Game Boy lol
If my memory is correct, you get about a roughly a film roll of pictures on the camera cartridge's memory. Many people suggest getting a newer backlit screen replacement so that you can see the Gameboy camera output at more angles so that it's not so hard to work with. Lots of content exists online about modding the Gameboy camera, getting the pictures off the cart storage and even things like adapting camera lenses. Color images are somewhat possible by way of trichrome photography techniques.
I really like how a project like this seems to make one acknowledge at least 1 special moment about each day, and therefore requires one to live life intentionally. That’s my take anyway.
Yes, for sure! No day goes by unnoticed, it helps me appreciate life more.
Looks awesome all laid out on the floor! Loved seeing them all, what an inspiration!
Thanks! It was super satisfying seeing them all together.
Serious achievement, let alone on instant film! My goal this year is to shoot more instant film, and perhaps next year I can focus on a 365 project! Great work!

@@lemon_brains_eater I’m glad!! Thanks for watching!
Any camera from any time period that allows you to control at least one variable (aperture, focus, shutter speed, ISO) can produce beautiful images. Consumers eschew control, rolling the dice on Auto. We are now learning that the aughts consumer cameras can be gold in an actual photographer's hands. A Stradivarius makes terrible music if you can't play. For those who needed their camera to do all the thinking, the iPhone was their unforeseen future promised land.

I have a first gen Now, not +. With the standard Now you have some of the "on board" features as the I-2. Double Exposure is one of them and I have used some of the techniques with some success without having to use an app. Keep up the great content.❤
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
About 5:30 in to the video and I have some thoughts (that are potentially answered later in the video): I don’t think everything needs to be so finite. If you do another 365 project in the future, if you don’t, that answer doesn’t really matter. What I will say is that it sounds like you’re lacking purpose. Why do another year long project? It’s worth finding a reason to keep doing them, a project that uses the repetitive every day imagery to its advantage. Brainstorming on subject matter for such a project sounds like a worth while investment of time to me, in your specific case. There’s obviously something inspiring for you about the timeliness of it. Another feeling I get from the video is that you’re ready for subject matter that’s bigger than yourself (and there’s definitely some projecting from me there). Ask yourself about your passions outside of photography. What can you create that changes things? What would make you want to photograph 365 days in a row? (Edit) Also worth mentioning, you may never find those answers, and that’s okay too. Even just thinking about your own answers offers guidance. My favorite projects are those convoluted and confused bodies of work that the artist doesn’t fully understand anyways. That connects with my experience of life.
I'm not lacking purpose at all, it's more that the constraints of a 365 Project just don't really work for me anymore. I like the marking of time of 365 Project, which is why I keep coming back to it, but I think I need to expand on the "time" aspect instead of just doing this same format over and over. Honestly, I don't really care if subject matter is bigger than me or not. In fact, I probably am even more interested in subject matter that is small. I think a lot of photographers fall into a trap of looking to large concepts when really that gets too mushy and uninteresting. I'm more interested in finding something with some punch or something more observational even. I've got a lot of ideas I've been working on that I will feature on this channel throughout the year, I'm just looking forward to the end of the low hum of this 365 project that takes up a little too much bandwidth for what it's worth.
instant film? best for night photography? never thought id ever see those two in the same sentence
@SirFunky I know right
Looking into the Zf now as well. And regrets not having your GFX50Sii anymore? 😅
@@mahdimanesh4221 no regrets really. Mainly for cost. Outfitting my Fuji with all the stuff I wanted was pricey compared to the Nikon. I feel more at home with the Nikon
Great videos and content. I used a Fuji Instax Wide for my MFA thesis project and would have loved to try out this Lomo Glass for that, thanks for the review and great photos!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely the best of the Instax cameras I've used, I just wish someone would make a higher quality camera option.
BIG 👍🏻s up. Love the content.
@@nickmatthews4939 thank you!!
The thing is ALL Polaroid cameras need this Update. I have a Polaroid Go gen 2 and this thing is literally unusable. When I am shooting outside without flash or inside with flash every photo comes out super overexposed and washed out. When deactivating flash inside the light is not enough to expose the film properly. I really like Polaroid because of the way their Photos can look. I want them to succeed but at this point I cant recommend this camera to anybody. It simply does not work. I think Polaroid should fix this Issue quick because small format instant cameras can be the entry drug (at least for me) to instant photography. My next bigger camera will be an Instax square although I would like to buy a Polaroid now+
@@RechtschreibrichterReiner I’ve never used a Go but I definitely had similar issues with the Now+ so I get what you’re saying. I’m not sure why they don’t fix those since they proved that they can fix the I-2.
No pain no gain. You are a creative inspiration. I've just discovered your channel and I'm working my way through your back catalogue, each has received a BIG 👍🏻s up so far.
