@@thecatfordstudios-catfordf1699 Brass Swells are recorded in a similar sounding room to Studio Brass, and likely with many of the same players - Studio Brass does not feature tempo synced swells, therefore Brass Swells may be a great addition 🙂

So, call me an idiot, but can't you just take a normal brass VST and then do the swells yourself with a fliter and volume control ? And that way you have total control over how the swell sounds
Good question! You can, but faking it never sounds as good as the real thing - the library also features the option to add or remove retonguing at the peak of each swell which further adds to the realism and isn’t a common feature in standard brass libraries, along with legato which will perform live in time with the swells. In short, real performances sound much more authentic and realistic to us than simply using a filter 🙂
Not here for the giveaway, just have a question about the library: are the time control variations actual recorded swells at different lengths or time stretched in Kontakt?
They’re actual performances - each note recorded at each bar length for maximum realism. There are also round robins for if you play the same note more than once
