Hi - if you're playing with the retonguing activated then the samples should sync perfectly with your metronome in your DAW, however on the versions with the retonguing removed, these are less "rhythmic" and therefore you can simply adjust the delay time to your liking if you feel it's not quite right for what you need
I believe you should be able to, quick search on youtube shows some people using it as a midi sending device in their daw. You would do the same, and trigger Kontakt instrument.
