Really great tutorial! I surprisingly got the seconds hand on first go and am so happy with how mine turned out
Glad to hear that, did you make the same build or something different?
I don’t care a s*** about the Daytona and its resemblance to it. This is simply a great looking chronograph for the price. I love mine. Flaws and all.
You make a convincing argument. Nicely done. ❤
Thanks man, appreciate it. What is your one watch collection?
@ three actually, Seiko Seitona solar chronograph, Hamilton khaki field 38mm, and Seiko skx009 diver.
Sonunda çözdük mk.
Hi, looks very nice! I have the same model from 2017. Was the original rubber strap available back then or is it from the newer model range?
I don't know when it was released, but it fits both models the same. I have the blue variant
The citizen has the more serviceable movement, without plastic parts
Gab2100 strap size?
35 mm would look tiny on my 7 3/4 wrist. Edit: 38 mm is perfect.
Version 7 in a beige dial is fantastic. I’ve got one and I love it. It screams mid-century class.
I have tried V2 with the beige dial and blue hands, fantastic color combination
❤
The first autometic chronograph for any watch lover should be this one...
I couldn't agree more
Sinn 356 or 144 ;)
@@chosearmandoarmando3864 between the 2 I wd say 356.
Wayyy too thick for the price
It is millimeter or two away from perfection
I came here for the Balkan accent better than the old robot one, no body likes that one.
Thanks man, appreciate it 😀
If you want to say you don't like the PRX, then go ahead and say it. But to say 'some people like a more classical style' is a bit weird. The whole point of the PRX is to offer something different. There's no point trying to compare it to the Gentleman or the T Classic for example...
Great watch but too thick for me. I am waiting for Vulcain 1970 green.
Great alternative, way thinner at 12.4mm but i think is slightly overpriced
This watch is honestly a mess it doesn't know what it is !!
Why do you think so, in my opinion is a relatively cheap alternative to the average Japanese automatic divers.
@timepieceofart it's part dive watch/part chronograph but it just doesn't work in my opinion sorry 😐
My wrist is 6.5 inches .. should i buy it cause i really like it??
It might look too big to be honest...i have 7 inches wrist so it has a noticeable wrist presence . But at the end, isn't that the purpose of a G Shock 😀
@timepieceofart hmmm maybe ur right. Lug to lug is quite large. So im not taking any chances. I prefer gshocks which hug the wrist well without any gaps. Hey man thanks for helping me out . Cheers👍
casio GA 2100
I don't like the Plastik inside.
For now, there is not much info if the plastic really makes the movement worse
Bro you prx size?
40mm
I just got the SSC 813 after obsessing over it since getting into watch collecting last year. I originally got the SSC 935 last May, but I still found myself thinking about the SSC 813. I’ve had it a few days. My first impression was that its smaller than my SSC 935. But it grows on you once you get used to the 39mm dial. This is the smallest dial watch that I own in my very new collection, so it is a bit of an adjustment. But so far so good! I got mine on Amazon for $550.
The 39mm really makes this one of the most versatile watches. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and enjoy your watch!
The question should be “should you buy PRX in 3024?” And it’s gonna be still a yes
The Seiko is far better.
Why do you think so?
I am sorry but any chrono with a 24 hour dial is a joke. Get a VK-67. Baltany makes one. I am an old pilot. I know what those dial thingys are for. Get a tri-compax mechanical. You will have a real watch. Good luck
Thank you for sharing your experience, i really appreciate it
As an old pilot, what is you favorite pilot watch if you didn't mind me asking
I LOVE my blue, 39mm Tag Heuer,”Glass Box” on the bracelet. Date at 6 and sapphire sandwich showing a gorgeous , 33 jewel in house, 4 hrtz etc. I love it!
I want one but I wish it didn't have the date display. Would look much cleaner without it
That would be a fantastic update
I own a vintage Pogue, Speedtimer SSC909, and a Ceramic Daytona. I can tell you that the Speedtimer feel and proportion is much more Daytona than Pogue, I would conclude it was definitely inspired to mimic the feel of the modern Daytona.
Your collection is impressive, well done! I especially like the look of the Pogue. I haven't had the opportunity to try on a Daytona yet. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your watches!
@timepieceofart thank u sir
Who wants a Seiko 😂😂😂
Apparently a lot of people 😀
I have a hydro conquest 41mm with an olive green dial 2020 model. It’s an amazingingly beautiful watch but just too heavy for daily wear.
Great watch, my favorite color variation, but i just couldn't justify paying 400 dollars more for basically the same watch with ceramic bezel
Who cares what its related to or trying to be another watch model? Its irrelevant to the watch in present time. Review the watch as it is. Is it a good/great/bad watch or not. Simple. Too many reviewers trying to compare a modern day watch to the past. It means nothing.
You are on point, I was just pointing out the design similarities to a Daytona. The Seedtimer is the main focus here.
Comparing a Seiko with a Daytona😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Who wants a Seiko 😂😂😂
This video is kinda like comparing laptops and desktop PCs of a similar price range. Both have their pros and cons...but its not an apples to apples comparison
Smells like a paid review
Nah, i am too small for that :) It is an honest opinion, i genuinely like the look and feel of the watch.
Tired of Budget Seiko's Shortcuts? This Tissot Offers Everything You Need, except a mechanical movement. There, I fixed it for you.
For a watch that it's main purpose is to be worn everyday day, i guess you will get tired of the +\- 25 sec per day you get from the entry level seiko mechanical movement
@@timepieceofart Mechanical movements are like classic cars. Quartz movements are like electric cars. One has personality, the other has accuracy. Quartz watches that look hyper modern, like Casio for example have their place in the hobby. Quartz watches that look like classic watches but have quartz movements, are to me basically almost as bad as cheap homages.
what about lume?
There is a shot of the lume at 2:50 mark. It is pretty decent blue Superluminova
Just a clarification, you said “hack feature” in your specs frame. But the 8210 doesn’t have hacking, if yours has hacking then it’s the 8215 marked as an 8210 (something citizen had to do for a bit due to a production bottleneck.
Thank you for the clarification, i really appreciate it.
I have signed 8210 on the bottom and also on the rotor, but it has hacking and handwinding. Watch from 7/2024.
Why did you compare between BMW and Hyundai?
Which ones which?😀
Not sure if you are aware there are $70000.00 Hyundais out there…🤨… I do love my British racing green Hydroconquest, and also love my Seiko SLAs…
Sounds like you're making up a whole lot of nonsense to promote this watch. Just because it's swiss made doesn't mean it's better.
I don't see what i made up, it offers sapphire crystal, 300 m WR, reliable movement, all of that is lacking in a entry level prospex model. And it is almost the same price
Case size too large for a traditional dress watch in my eyes, 35mm is the sweet spot. But apart from that I do like the look of this Orient.
I thought about that, but honestly most people cant pull a 35mm. Me personally, I find the 35mm too small for my wrist, it looks kinda silly
I love mine but the hardlex crystal is crap I've already had to have mine replaced by seiko due to scratching it and in less than a year it's scratched again. The sooner seiko do a sapphire crystal upgrade the better 🙏
I can't comprehend why Seiko is still refusing to include sapphire crystal in their watches that are sub 500 dollars. I know it cost more, but i am not convinced that it is that much of a difference.
This is a big piece of crap!
Why?
I think that is a bit to harsh :)
Quartz .. just get a G-Shock. Thats a real tool watch, water watch, space watch, sports watch etc etc etc
Shit looks ugly 😂
I think the Seastar 1000 is much more versatile watch than a G-Shock
This Tissot movement would be better if the movement were mechaquartz. It would hit every box I want from diver's chrono.
I own the Seiko, I sold the longines. If I run through the main points, imho. Movement is about the same, Seiko is in house but I am a sucker for eta's. Case shape the Seiko is more interesting. Case profile the longines is thinner but the Seiko sits better on the wrist. Bracelet the Seiko is better, I hate polished links. Finishing the Seiko is more interesting. crystal both are good. Lume the Seiko is great, longines is none existent. crown action the Seikos is great, longines is difficult to wind due to the guards. Snob factor the longines is more premium. Dial is the Seiko, longines is boring.
Thank you for your insight, that is really detailed explanation
Blud really tried to be sneaky with the title change from 2024 to 2025 😭just put the fries in the bag lil bro
I used to have the blue dial version of the SNXS. I considered making it my one and only, but I eventually sold it. One thing I really didn't like about it is how it sits on the wrist. Too tall and leaves a comically large gap. I didn't have a problem with the bracelet. It is light and comfortable. I always wear my watch loose as I can't stand anything sticking to my skin, so modern on-the-fly micro adjustment systems don't mean much to me. I guess it's nice to have an easily adjustable modern clasp but I really don't need it. Hacking and handwinding are also useless. Setting the SNXS with the 7S26 movement was so fast and easy. I also didn't like that it's a Rolex rip off. I prefer the more original design of my SRPE55K1.
The SRPE55K1 is lovely looking watch, it fits the roll perfectly for a one and only GADA watch. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Last Seiko 5 Sport that I got had bad beat error of 1.6.
A lot of people complaining about the accuracy of the 4R36 movement. Sometimes i think it is better to go for a quartz rather than a inaccurate movement, especially if you wear only one watch most of the time and you are tired of constantly adjusting the time every other day.
@ Yeah got my first watch for 2025 is a PROSPEX ALPINIST SBDC091 / SPB121J1 with UncleStrap Rice Bracelet. Love the caliber on it, 70 hour power reserve. Think I’ll stick with the higher end calibers on Seiko watches, sure they will cost more. When it comes to quartz, I like Bulova Precisionist movements, seconds hand very smooth.
Beautiful watch, beautiful dial, and this is a watch that first came on my radar a few weeks ago and keeps tempting me! Does the 30 minute counter keep going after 30 minutes?
Honestly it is a wonderful watch, the dial is perfect. I haven't tested the chronograph after 30 minutes, i think it stops at 30. I will check.
SPB143 Isn't dress watch. I prefer SPB067J1 as a dress watch, daily watch with SRPE93K1, and SPB143 Or SPB079 As a weekend watches
Just ordered 1.
where did you get if below $100? in the Philippines it costs more than Php7000.00 or more than 120USD
Seiko is just more handsome❤😊
Sometimes, it is the deciding factor when choosing a watch :)
