Dear thank you for sharing. I need your advice. Is it better to work 12 months for emirates to gain experience and then leave when pregnant (and possibly return afterwards) or search another airline with less salary but they pay maternity leave? Thank you 😊

In Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, we see so many dolphins pop out of the water, just like the whales did. It’s like magic! It’s like, wow and you feel like A new release of life afterwards… I really really want to see the northern Iights so will go on a cruise, hopefully around November- December. I HATE EMIRATES AIRLINES. I HATE THEM TO THE CORE. Emirates Cabin Crew are one of the most racist, condescending and rude cabin crew in the world, especially on the flights to South Asian sector (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) where poor workers go back to their respective homelands from Dubai. They are very nice to white-skinned, caucasian Europeans and Americans though (I know this from first hand experience). When dealing with the South Asian passengers in general (and poor, illiterate workers in particular), you can't help notice the contempt and smirk on the crew's faces. They treat the workers as some lowly animals, as if they (the crew members) are doing the workers some favor by serving them. When the impoverished, physically drained and mentally abused workers who work 12 to 14 hours everyday outdoors in extremely hot weather 6 days a week go back to their home countries after 2, 3 or 4 years, they are totally bewildered in an air-conditioned aircraft and its surroundings and the Emirates Cabin Crew take full advantage of the workers' vulnerability. I step on an Emirates airliner only when it's the last option and I ensure I am armed with a secret camera (either in my sunglasses or my hat). I put the camera on by using the remote as soon as I see an Emirates cabin crew's snarky behaviour and clandestinely record a video and later send it to their HR in a USB Key in a hand-delivered parcel. I must have sent them at least 45-50 USB sticks so far. So, snarky, condescending, smirky, rude and racist crew, BEWARE. You could be the next one to be fired. You survived so far because you had excellent luck. But luck runs out, eventually.

I lived in Salem and grew up in the area with a lot of school field trips to the town of Salem and all the graves are real. Most have been weathered so much and due to all the tourism a lot of the gravestones have no words anymore.

The graveyard is real. Do your history. I don’t even know why you’re wondering. There was a flood in the cemetery causing some graves and stones to shift and fall. Please do read about the history first. Salem is much less busy during summer there’s far less tourists and you can see more. Salem was the last place for witch hunts in America. 3 in Massachusetts one in Connecticut. It’s hidden history but worth looking into and might make your trip more enjoyable if you go again.

It's really a different culture out here, too bad many people leave because it's not suiting them, goodluck to you and that was wise of you not to reveal your pregnancy despite how excited you must've been.

Just came across this video! I gotta say you're a star! Hope your pregnancy went well. But geeze all the stress you've had and strength to keep that wonderful smile on your face!

I've been thinking about solutions to this problem, it's probably the same with many other airlines, but just worse with Emirates. And I can see why it would be worse, bringing in foreigners is a scammy way to screw over young and naive people who will not be able to sue the company whenever things go wrong, or at least it would cost more money than they pay. And if you have no recourse, they can treat you very poorly and that is what happens to most.
