I lived in Salem and grew up in the area with a lot of school field trips to the town of Salem and all the graves are real. Most have been weathered so much and due to all the tourism a lot of the gravestones have no words anymore.

Hi, tell your boyfriend those stones are real! nothing is fake in Salem, I was born and raised here, the city of Salem doesn't put fake stones in grave yards. These stones are over 300 years old!
