    Thanks everyone for watching! I hear you about it being too fast to really see what I’m doing. I’ll do another one with the wave design in real-time next. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss it! ❤️🌊

    Your mug is lovely - and your carving designs are awesome with a gentle undulating flow. Although you described your tools, it was not obvious to the viewer the succession of carving steps and which tool was used to get the depth and angles of the incisions in the clay. Sometimes the fast-view-speed is appropriate as a demonstration.....

    Beautiful work. It would be great if you could post a similar video in a slower speed. It's very hard to see what tools you are using and how you are using them.

    Please angle camera so your hand is t blocking when you carve. I also couldn’t see which tool you were using for what. Love your work!

    Would love if you would slow down some spots so we can actually see what you are doing and which took you are using. Very beautiful 😍

    Watching the video at 0.5x of normal speed is perfect for being able to watch this carving of a mug. Tap on the stack of three dots that reside in the upper right corner of the video. Lots of options hiding there.

    Beautiful work! I was surprised to find your Etsy shop has not items in it. Are you selling elsewhere?

    Could you please tell me how long do i need to wait before startingto carve? Also would it work so smooth with red clay? when i try it doesnt cut so smooth but kinda rolls like ice cream. Might be bad tool, wrong clay or Its too soft and i need to wait to dry a bit? thank you

    • @manateepottery
      @manateepottery  4 роки тому +1

      Natia Sop sounds like the clay is still too wet, you want to wait until it’s leather hard to try carving, then the pieces should come off cleanly. Most types of clays should work, if it has a lot of sand or grog, you would see those marks dragging through when you carve, but it sounds like you just need to wait a bit for it to dry. Good luck!
