What is the engine code?

Just doing the exact same job. Super guide 👍 the only thing I see different to mine is the white connector is the clutch switch and the black is the brake switch. Not sure if yours is correct being from a different car or you accidentally whilst giving the dialogue reversed them. I'd hate for someone to connect brake and clutch wrong or cut off the brake wire thinking it's the clutch. 100% appreciate the video. Picking up loads of tips etc. Keep em coming 👍

Hey Ron, Do you have a part number for that compressor? I have the exactly the same golf with the same compressor but cannot find the aftermarket model which looks identical as mine. Even a used one. Thanks!

I saw a red Mk1 Golf at The Motorist near Sherburn in North Yorkshire last weekend that had a very similar engine conversion. All the wiring was tucked the same, chassis rails were welded and smoothed the same and the engine bay had been repainted too. It was a very very nice restoration.

Just curious, how did the plastic guides look when you tore into it? I have a clutch ready for my mk4, I might as well do the chains as well. I will be pulling the motor for sure.

Build it during lockdown in 2020 and suprise it hasn't blowen yet.. just blowing up gearboxes of course😂 there's kinda video's are the reason why im a golf famboy. i have also a very weird problem, it cools but it cools very weak, and when i turn it off, it smells like wet dog and socks, have you ever got the problem. also A/C clutch repair is very rare these days here in Holland, most mechanics do the whole compressor.
