Haven't changed a bit since 2011 when i left
Where'd you head off to?
@@livinginalbertanow I left canada since 2011.
@@我是你大爷-y8c Probably a very wise decision.
@@livinginalbertanow not exactly, still miss little camrose though. Had the best time of my life back then.
I like it thank you
Very nice town
Indeed!
Love it
I love this town. So much history
We do as well.

Very cool little town!
It is!
👍
Watching again!
Great video!
TY
I miss living in Bragg Creek, very laid back and beautiful, but so true about the commute if you work in the city
Thanks for the adventure.
No problem! Thanks for dropping by
👍👍
An interesting little tidbit of fact. You can travel from Claresholm all the way to Edmonton without having to go through another traffic light on Hwy 2.
LOL That is true!
👍
I like that you don't edit out any of your driving in town. I'm happy with seeing the main streets and any other interesting old buildings you find. You could maybe do more intown driving and cut out the highway driving at the later part of the video or just end it as you leave town. Only my opinion though.
For sure. I only had a limited amount of time and want to return to do a lot more driving around town.
This video came up in my recommendations, so I decided to check it out and glad I did. Will be checking out more of your videos
Thanks for stopping by!
itis nice trees
Looks peaceful and clean despite the negatives. It's now designated under the Rural Renewal Scheme ....
I dont know if that will help. Settling in foreigners into a society that is collapsing might not be the best idea.
I lived there with my wife and kids from 1993 to 98. We moved to Strathmore in 98 and we are still there today. Kids are grown now and on their own.
Strathmore does have a lot more to offer.
@@livinginalbertanow Yes, that is why we moved.
@@whiskeytango9769 Strathmore just continues to grow.
good video and info
Thankyou for posting this I grew up in this area and to this day I’m around there I was looking to move into rosebud but all the tourism is leaning me towards carbon another valley town close by

Very good video. I subscribed.
Too blurry...I like watching them but u need a better camera..
Just up the resolution in UA-cam. For me it was stuck on 360p for some reason. Its high def now and not blurry
I think this video does the community of Wetaskiwin a great disservice. No community is without its challenges. We chose to move to Wetaskiwin a few years ago. The people are friendly, the city is welcoming, has a lot of services and is well managed. Moving here was a good choice and we do not regret it one bit.
Best of luck. People need to know the truth, and this community has serious issues. Much more than most communities across Canada. It is one of the worst Communities in Canada to live in according to many statistics.
Are you kidding me? Read the new crime stats from the RCMP. Your chance of being a victim of a violent crime here is 1-in 22. WORSE THAN NEW YORK CITY. The town is a shithole and it is getting worse!
If you enjoy drugs. This is the town for you. If you enjoy your kids playing in parks with needles, homeless crazy people rubbing shit all over the entry way to the grocery store or knife stabbings and daily shootings - this is the town for you. Everyone else without their head in the sand....move along.
i look for houses here. i saw crack heads everywhere. the police said we could not drive down one street because of stabbing. i saw tent city where bumms and drugs are. my friend got hit with a bottle when he said no to a woman on drugs selling her body. this is not good town. stay away. real estate person said do not buy houses here. it is all going down hill. i saw.
@@ItsHappeningSomethingutube Ya dont move there. Its bad.
good stuff
Great photos, but they scroll by too fast
I am sorry about that. You can slow them down by doing this: Go To Settings and choose your desired playback speed. You can make it so it goes by at 1/4 the speed or 1/2. I hope that helps, Thank you!
Good work!
Good video!
I grew up visiting Drumheller as a kid. Always loved going up to Wayne. I now live right on the Rosebud River. Never leaving. 👍🏼👍🏼
Its not a bad place to live for sure!
so cool... i found my house in parkdale. it was built in 1930 and had no trees around it at the time. thank you.
I can see the same houses my neighbours still live in and most houses on the street are still standing today. thanks again. i had to subscribe to your channel . cheers
That is amazing!
@@sirtrollsallotthe3rd42 Its funny how things change, yet in some places remains the same.
@@livinginalbertanow I subed from my other channel . cheers
@@sirtrollsallotthe3rd42 Thank you!
UH no mention of how the cree tribe of Hobbema - a once thriving economic nation who got all their riches from oil reserve, that have since dried up, and how fast the town grew bc Hobbema Nation Members were spendinging the vast majority of their wealth in this town, It's so obvious that there is a very HIGH CORRELATION between the dried up oil rigs and the sad state of the economy and all the crime, drugs and alcohol that come with a depressed economy, Do your research right!!!
That is why no person or group of people should rely on oil royalties.
Good video!
Went in in the 70’s 👍
How much has changed?
You should have shown the Red Deer River Banks the Blureo Ferry and nearby drum Heller, Three Hills has the best honey in the world
Hi, Drumheller is on another video. I will return to Three Hills again and will definitely check out those sites! Where should I buy the honey from?
verynice thank you mister
Fantastic video

Used to live here, I liked it a lot, the prices used to be brutal for any sort of shopping but I heard they swapped owners not long after I moved out. Commute was a problem going to school in Airdrie but overall it was a nice place to live at the time.
I think the prices have gone down, but with inflation the way it is....it is probably back to what you remember. It still is a nice little place to live compared to some areas that are not doing so well. Thanks for dropping by!
Always appreciate local museums...sure do add to the communities in which they are found and keeping local culture alive and well and not to be forgotten.
You are absolutely right. I usually stop in to any museum when trippn' about. Most museums have great caretakers and offer glimpses into the history that is often overlooked. Thanks for dropping by!
Thank you!
No problem, enjoy!
No haunted house?
Nope. Just a really bad fun house.
Very nice!
Don't forget the world economic forum has so many mayors in alberta, and politicians, they are making 15 minute cities.
They would love nothing more than to herd everyone together.
Get 100000 indians panjabi

Used to punish their teams in Hockey years ago. Coldest rink in the league at the time. Good people though

"The hills where the peace was made", beautiful Cree name
Let us hope this is also a future reference for the town.
