Reunion quartet was the best. Lee Young is such an outstanding bass singer. And Buddy, Marshall and David just top it off. IMO, Bill G. needs to pass the torch. It will always be the GVB, but there is a time.

I particularly love the way Pavarotti adds an "ah" sound at the end of the the "Vin" in Vinceraq. It is magic!

I have seen this come through many times and I have listened to them all over and over but I have to say David Phelps voice and control seems unmatched. They are all amazing and talented and gifted singers but that man has something so special in his voice and presentation!! Even in other songs that he sings…. He is just SPECIAL!!

Pavarotti without a second thought! He sang this so amazingly well. Words cannot describel his brilliance. Second & not that far behind Pavarotti is Corelli. I hadn't heard him sing this before. But it's great. Both made me cry. The rest hmmm??

I do not like opera, so boring to me! So very thankful David Phelps sang it his young own way! Our family would have not ever liked this song if it weren’t for David’s singing and style!

You forgot Placido Domingo. I love Corelli and Pavarotti. It’s the tone on the second to the last note that gets me. Full and rich. Too many focus on the last note. Jonathan will grow into it as he studies. He’s certainly got the mechanism. The last dude is a show boater. Just because you can hit the notes doesn’t mean you should perform that song. His voice is way too thin to pull it off.

I too vote for Bjorling, warmth and resonance though I admire those who pitched it higher.
