Je me souviens quand il est sortis et que j ai écouté pour la 1ere fois chaques chansons. A l époque pas évident de regarder des videos YT qualitatives sur gojira lol , j ai du le jouer à l oreille avec ma guitare comme j ai tjrs fait d ailleurs, esoteric surgery quel plaisir la 1ere fois que j ai jouer sur l album. Quelle epoque , mes 19 ans mon 1er amour mon 1er chagrin mes 1eres grandes désillusions et pourtant j aime encore tant cet album" And now you are the one To change the face of the world You wield the sword the pain is left aside And I have left my tears behind me So I refind the way I that I know So bright to me And I only adore the fact that we are the creators of our own lives"❤

People say its *Ambience/Synth* which it could be but I highly belive that *Outro Instrumental* has *Guitars,* there are Guitars which sound like that, if tuned in a certain way.

This is their last album I really enjoyed. I think they truly peaked at The Eye of Every Storm. After that, including this one to a degree, is just trying to do what they did before Eye of Every Storm. I enjoy some parts of this album, though not all. Origin is flawless, so is Water is not enough and To the Wind. For me, Neurosis is absolute perfection from Through Silver in Blood to The Eye of Every Storm. Every song on those records is impeccable, even the short lead through tracks.

I simply can't get into Gojira. I don't know why they get all that praise. All their music sounds the same.

I see live show in Budapest 2 times !!

When I heard Remembrance just now, I had to minimize and go back to UA-cam just to see what the name of the song/album was and contemplate why I ever excluded it from my list of favorite Gojira songs ever. Fan for almost 2 decades now, got to see them for the first time live like 2 years ago on their first trip to Colombia. One of the few metal bands that gives me frisson, and seeing them play their older stuff live is an out of this world experience.

I miss Guillaume and Mnemic so much. This is the direction I wish “modern metal” would have gone instead of where it has. This is what “modern metal” sounds like when the focus is on good songs and having a distinct sound as a band rather than bands trying to out-djent or out-metalcore each other while all sounding exactly the same.

Блин, сколько посмотрел каверов на эту тему, все слишком много бегаю по грифу, там стартовый рифф можно сыграть в одной позиции, зачем лишние телодвижения? А ответ прост - все играют по табам, а не подбирают, хотя в композиции по-сути три несложных риффа.
