Very cool, love what you've done. I created for myself the idea of critical hits against an enemy with no helmet results in a head strike & a 1d4 is rolled. 1= loss of 25% remaining HP, 2 = 50%, 3 = 75% and 4 results in death. The wearing of a helmet results in a standard critical hit result. I also wanted to implement something which reflects the weight of the weapons during combat aside from the damage. My aim was to make the light class more attractive & I was thinking of something like a cost in HD actions overall. Light - 1 action per attack Medium - 2 actions per attack Heavy - 3 actions per attack So to recap, a player with 3 HD actions with a dagger can attack 3 times but his opponent with the 2 handed sword only get the 1. Any thoughts?

This was so much fun to watch! I've been watching Critical role since the start of the first campaign and have been hooked on adventure games ever since. Sadly I am chronically ill and disabled and bedridden so I haven't been able to find a group to play myself. I have tried many times online but it never worked out unfortunately. Now I have just found out about single play and am trying to get familiar with it and find the best match for me. I am also interested in games like frostgrave. I am a painter and would love to illustrate my adventures and maybe even paint some 3d models. You make this seem very approachable and fun, thank you!❤

3rd one for sure... I been playing with scribble technique as well for my games. I guess I got exited with some of the mother ship art. More texture, different approach to details, fast and expressive.

Might try out the scribble method for some of my solo journaling!

I wonder if an ink pad would work instead of an open bottle. You may end up with less ink on the towel, but it's also much harder to spill. This was fascinating to watch -- I tend to get way too involved in drawings and love seeing methods for loosening up.

pretty awesome! I think efficiency and efficacy wise, scribbling is the winner. unless you can control the ink wash somehow so it doesnt mess with your table
