Thanks for the update. I completely understand about your ideas and processes changing over time. In a sense I think of UA-cam as a diary of sorts, where creators share their thoughts. Thoughts and opinions etc change over time and I think that’s a good thing. Your idea of just doing what you like and putting it out there is the best way to go IMO. Keep enjoying this amazing hobby and share what and when you want/can.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I am incredibly happy to hear that my videos have inspired you to start on your own solo RP journey, and it's really what keeps me going and making videos. Much thanks from Singapore!

That insect hat dude (Grot?) is amazing!

Thank you! That is indeed Grot - that helmet is a Nautilus helmet he obtained that saved his life when a giant threw a boulder at him. On enough impact it turns the body into a puddle - the problem is, there's a chance Grot permanently STAYS as a puddle, so he's been doing research into making a special suit he can still operate while in puddle form haha!

I have suddenly had the same feeling you appear to have. I feel like I have some sort of impetus, pushing me to create quality videos because of the feedback I’ve gotten from people. I initially started my channel just to video my solo games that I was having fun playing, I honestly didn’t think anybody would want to watch them.
I agree, though, you should do what you find entertaining and interesting. If you are honest and truthfully, enjoying what you are doing, I believe that will come across as genuine and people will want to watch your videos. I hope you’re feeling better and the art is awesome!

@@mattjackson Thank you so much Matt! This message means a lot to me. You inspire me a lot with what you do, and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one facing this sorta thing. I will strive to do exactly that, and try to continue being genuine!
Also, do check out Sandbox Generator! I've been using it for my solo playthroughs and have been thoroughly enjoying the dungeon generation section. It's like AD&D DMG's Appendix A but yields far better results! I've been going through a procedurally generated megadungeon with it, trying to get as much loot as I can each time and getting out alive, haha.

@@Chaoclypse I just picked it up based on your recommendation. 2 mile hexes????? Blasphemy!

@@mattjackson I mainly use it for the dungeon generation - the only thing I substitute in the dungeon generation is the monsters, otherwise I use it pretty closely. It has 100 detailed special rooms, which is fantastic!
And fully agreed about the 2 mile hexes - I'm more a classic 6 mile hex man myself, at least that's what I'm using for in the campaign I'm running!
