I’m looking for a way out .. i keep having to tell my mom everyday multiple times a day thats she doesn’t work anymore.
Hey get lost.
This doesn't work, horrible advice! They never stop asking!
I learn so much of dementia with the topics you show. My husband had anxiety and was shaking so much yesterday today he's fine is this part of dementia and anxiety or sundown
When you have the time how about doing some research on what we can do to help them and do we have the technology on how to Cure Alzheimer's.
My husband's grandfather went back to his childhood/teen years. He remembered that vividly, but nothing after.
I really enjoyed your video thanks so much!
I love all these helpful tips.
Yep just add ketchup to a white plate and they will eat 😅😅
Your videos are helping so much. My grandma very suddenly started showing signs of severe dementia. I knew how to handle her delusions and redirect because of your videos. Thank you. We are trying to make her comfortable as we don’t think she has very long
I’m curious is this an actual term that doctors are familiar with?
Person woke up saying I was running down stairs
Thank you for your positivity in your relationships. Wonderful tips. God bless you all!
🙏 "Ayurveda has been trusted for centuries, and this product from Planet Ayurveda combines traditional wisdom with modern research. Highly recommend it for anyone dealing with Alzheimer’s challenges."
I dont think I can make it
My hubby is schizophrenic so I understand this
❤️🍽️❤️
😂 We never had this problem with my grandma. She ate EVERYTHING lol I miss her lots ❤
Dan, our doctor referred my husband to physical therapy after having several falls. He was taught exercises to do twice a day. It has helped. My husband has dementia caused by years of Epilepsy .
Thank you for this information.
What should I do whwn my mother says she wants to go home because she misses her parents, who have been gone for many years
Where I live they are deliberately neglecting my mom for political reasons. She's after putting me in jail three times, no prior record. 😂 Thanks for your videos.
I remember my mom was dealing with sun downing. It wasn't easy but my sister and I managed to help my mother with different activities to clam her down
Hilarious 😆😆😆
It is all bullshit you told us. When aggression is getting worse, the only thing is to leave the person alone or leave the house.
Do you have any advice when it's your loved one with dementia who was always very direct before Alzheimer's dx 4 weeks ago? Thank you very much.Your videos are so helpful. Your dedication is inspiring. 🥰
I have a 4 hr temporary in home care dementia patient. Ive been eith her 5 day, 4 hrs. Her daughter & husband went travelling up North. Last night she became violent, btryong to hot me, trying to knock chairs down, thre pepsi....im finding put from Am cargiver, she slapped her. Ee only have 2 more days, she wont letme change her depends, i dont try, eave for daytime person, shes dangerous to me.
My mom likes to call me mom all the time, and say things like, ok mommy, or when were our shopping she calls out to me saying come over here, im gonna spank you!! Then she'll say, oh I was only kidding!! Im 56 years old my mom is 87. Its weird hearing her say this over and over, when were out in public😖
Laughing 😂my head off!!! The worst thing they could say; I hate you and you look so stupid!!!😂😂😂❤❤
THANK YOU😂❤❤❤❤
Thank god for you guys I am challenged daily and hearing you both share the extreme vulnerabilities involved with caregiving helps me feel supported. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hello...My technique is I will have my hands full as if I'm super busy, I'll have a glass of water in one hand & maybe something like a book in the other. I'll say Mama, hold this for me my hands are full, (without saying water) it totally distracts her and a second later the water will be all gone. It works with food aswell. I'll give her a bucket of KFC and say whew, my hands are full, hold this for me please my dear. ❤
it gets dark early, but i'd love to get dad to the beach. maybe walking will help him.
i'm struggling with my dad sun-up to sun-down
i dad is irritated ALL DAY LONG
Hi i keep seeing this video but the date has passed for the workshop. Is there an ongoing workshop or is this an old video resurfacing? It is now November 4th. Thank you
This video has too much distraction. So confusing to follow
If family is visiting make it earlier in the day. Especially with children. Late visits can bring on confusion and agitation
We got an automatic feeder, it's very helpful and it's almost like reminder timer for meds too
Thank you for putting this information out to the public! A little late for me and my Mom, but good information.
The accusations phase, just walk off because odds are they’re not gonna remember that they accused you of it in 10 minutes anyway, and the situation is resolved.
