  • Having used the Sidi Adventure 2 boot for the past 19 months ... Now, as I am venturing out into more "challenging" trails I was looking for something that could provide more protection to my feet/ankle area. I think these Sidi Crossfire 3 TAs might be just the answer.
If not the Sidi Crossfire 3 TAs ... then what do you suggest?
    Thanks!
    Dave

You made a good purchase. Last summer I broke the 5th metatarsal on my right foot on my old Victory Bagger. It was a freak situation not likely to be repeated, but it took over 3 months and a surgery to heal. I now have a BMW R1200GSA and have a heathy paranoia about avoiding a foot injury, so I am looking at the same boot or a Forma in the same category pretty much for all of my riding on the beemer. At 69 years old it pays not to take chances. I can always bring another pair of shoes if I need to walk any distances. Good Points!

How’s shifter and rear brake pedal feel with the TA vs the Adv boot?

Great question! For sure, the ADV provides more immediate feedback. The TA much less at first ... however, after a long ride, you manage to develop a feel ... after 3-4 rides it's not an issue at all. Hope this helps.
