I’m 57 and wanting to try to skate again. I us to skate as a teen all the time, and in my mind I still think I could do it, but the small voice in my head says, “what if you fall?” You inspire me! Can you share what skates you have now that you are liking? And what are you wearing under your helmet, it looks very cushiony. Great video and well done!!

I feel like a failure some times at skating too, I'm so jealous watching others who pick this up so easily. Ugh! You have given me encouragement that I can do this and I'm not alone.

Interesting I love this wheels on my laminate kitchen floor for a beginner like me, I think they will be too hard for me outdoors and already started looking for gummier wheels when I eventually step outside 😂. Your skating looks great and your excitement was fun to watch. It’s great to see an unboxing where you show us how it skates.

I've just decided at 59yrs old to learn how to roller skate. I fell really hard and busted my lip at my 1st lesson and now I'm nervous but really want to learn. Any tips for nervousness and btw happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for making this video! I'm 67 and haven't skated in over 25 yrs. And like you, I want to but have to go back to basics ... and it is so frustrating. Congrats on your progress! I just put on my skates yesterday, and I was terrified. Hoping to work up more courage today to actually try to move. It can be a bit discouraging to see those who learn in a week, but we all learn at our own pace. It’s nice to hear about your progress, and I think it’s realistic for those of us who haven’t done this before.

What a great place you found to skate! And yes you will get comfortable the more you skate on that surface. Btw I have indoor wheels but I like to wear my hybrid wheels at the indoor skating rinks because they help me to control my speed better. It’s really good to see you skating! 🤗😁
