Thank you for making this video! I'm 67 and haven't skated in over 25 yrs. And like you, I want to but have to go back to basics ... and it is so frustrating. It's enough to make me want to say, "Forget it" but something inside says, "Keep going." So thanks, again, for this video; it's giving me hope! Happy skating!

What a great place you found to skate! And yes you will get comfortable the more you skate on that surface. Btw I have indoor wheels but I like to wear my hybrid wheels at the indoor skating rinks because they help me to control my speed better. It’s really good to see you skating! 🤗😁
Thank you so much! I am so excited I finally found this place! I did like using my 78a wheels on it because I did feel a little more in control having a slight grip. But I may try the 82a's again since I bought myself a dust mop to clean that floor! Once I got that sand off, it wasn't as slippy! 🥰🛼🛼
Watched this a few days ago. I realized just now I didn’t comment! I am so happy you were able to skate on the big one despite getting half of it swept (that looked like a tough job).
Thank you! Yes! I also bought a new dust mop that I used to clean the whole thing, and it is so much better after doing that. I have skated the whole thing a couple of times now! Yay! 🥰🛼🛼
